Love the tutorial!! And you’re right, vocals is where you don’t use elastic audio!
I won’t even use Melodyne, I’d rather have them recording again until we get a great take!

This was great...!...Question...Is there a "threshold" function like in Beat Detective that controls the number of warp points are detected...?

You never want to use Elastic Audio on lead vocals because it can introduce artifacts that you don't hear on things such as guitars. You need to use Melodyne to align your vocals. geni.us/melodyne-editor

ok quick question...im getting to a point on some new songs ive been working on to get to the editing stage. for instruments do you recommend this method or slip editing ??? i can see how this is easy and good....but thats only if it was a solid preformance to start with right ??? if u gear lots of artifacts you need to start over is that correct

You'll want your performance to be at least a 7 or 8 out of 10 to use elastic audio. Otherwise, I recommend re-recording your track. 👍
