How to Tie a Uni Knot

The uni knot can sort of be considered the “grown up” improved clinch knot.
The tying mechanics are very similar, but one slight variation in the steps
ramps up strength significantly. Whereas an improved clinch tightens down
directly on top of the hook or lure eye, the coils in a uni knot tighten around
the main line first and then slide down and jam against the eye. It seems like
a minor difference, but it’s a big one.

My go to knot since a deck hand showed it to me 15 years ago at Guadalupe Is. Fast , easy in low light and reliable. Even use a double uni to join lines.
