I used to go camping here with my dad. Best times of my life. I loved waking up to geese in the cool mornings and smelling the fires people already had going, some still smoldering from the night before. I should go back. "The mountains are calling, and I must go."
We ride our Harley's over the mountain all the time going to warm springs. We have not camped there yet but will make a point of it. We are only 30 miles from there and just got a class A so we can tow a trailer with our bikes. Great video.
Thanks Mike. This is a nice area. If you can book early, the spots along the lake are really nice. The top end of back loop is very nice too with pull throughs. If you’re a hiker, check out Wolfden Loop ruclips.net/video/pBdOc_rejJE/видео.html It’s a great way to spend half a day.
Thanks M L. Hope you get a chance to return. So much has been added over the years. Spring and fall are really something and the Christmas light show is a lot of fun.
Boy that is a great place. Another big winner. I love those pull through sites. Checked out the website, what a nice campground. And many things to see there. Another great place that we will go to.
The BBQ Pit is where Roosevelt and Family would Cook out. Can't believe you didn't go to the Liberty Pool Shaped like a Bell Natural Spring water supplies it.
Thank you for the quality video/campground review! I also appreciate that you mention the number of the site you’re at. Beautiful place. Happy camping!
It was our first/shakedown trip too! Great place, lots to do! Planning on going back soon for a longer stay. Thanks for all your videos, great content, we enjoy them all!
WE Jerry I watch you guys all the time... can you tell us what site were you staying in ? we just booked the park . it kind of looks like ours but not sure .... thanks Tom
Some kinda pretty Jerry and Joan! Great information on this awesome campground. I'll always be an "I Love RV Life" subscriber!! You've always got the best video reviews and information for us out here in RUclips land, when you and Mrs Joan are out on your excursion's when sipping sweet tea 😀. Y'all stay safe out there and have fun. Blessings to you and your family Jerry and Joan!!
Thanks so much Todd. Fun place. Was nice to return after a long stent. Joan and I so enjoy sharing our travels and easy to do when you find a nice place to camp. Appreciate the blessings. Jerry...
Could you comment on the roads leading to the park? We've never driven our fifth wheel through the mountains so we were wondering how the drive to the park is. Which areas of the park are big rig friendly? Thank you!
Hi Jenn. Great tip. I’ll start doing that. I don’t like the tight spots for our 40 ft 5th wheel. If we show a campground, it’s big rig friendly. Also, in some of the state parks, I’ll walk around and show the narrow spots, if any. But for access in, I’ll start sharing the trip in.
BTW, you have become my mentor! We are starting a channel for our RV life with my Sister-in-Law who is handicapped, and you have taught me a lot! 'captain how to speak Southern, the Alabama boy already knew that :) Thanks again!
I love your video! I will be staying there soon. I will be staying at site 115 with a small trailer camper (6 x 8) Has anyone stayed at that site? I am scared the camper wont fit. Help please !
Just one of those things. It’s like a big chess board. You always have to look forward 4 or 5 moves to anticipate where the opponent will try to get you. We’ll adapt and keep at it. Thanks a bunch for your support!
@@iLoveRVlife Our wine is running low, need to make a trip down there. Love that muscadine wine from the WS Wineries. Also our Son and his family are in Columbus GA area, they want a visit, just got our TT last fall and would like to check out the park, Planning has begun.
Great spot. Close, about 30 minutes from the heart of Columbus. If you enjoy wines, try the Cleveland / Dahlonega area. Vineyards everywhere and fun tasting rooms around the square in Dahlonega..
Your videos are very helpful and informative. I'm heading on a cross country road trip and you've already helped me a ton. Thank you, Jerry, I'm a new subscriber :D
Thanks Jerry really enjoy your camp site tours. I’m so looking forward to my retirement to spend it touring around. You give me something to look forward to. Do you belong to any clubs or camp discount groups? Have heard about thousand trails etc. Have you done any videos on the pros and cons of those? Tia keep up the great videos Jerry thank you.
Thanks so much. I belong to Escapees, Passport America and Good Sams. Haven’t tried Thousand Trails. Just hear to many negatives. Thanks for the idea. I’ll add a membership and discount video in the near future.
I live in Pine Mountain! We love it!! You did a great review!!
Thanks. One of our favorites too.
That's my Hometown
Great area. One of our favorites.

Super. This is a fun spot.

It was closed when visited.
Very well done. It is now on our list of places to go.
Thanks so much Timothy. This is a nice one. Have fun.
Definitely on our list.

This is by far one of my favorite places you have visited for camping. Marked it and can't wait to go.

Most certainly! Thanks Jim.
Another wonderful video. Thank you. Have you done a video on your truck? I love it.
Thanks a bunch Quentin. I haven’t done a truck video. Several have asked. Guess it’s time. Let me see what I can do over the next couple of weeks.

Wow John! What a great comment. Greatly appreciated. Best of luck with your channel. Looking forward to watching.
It is different without the music.
It is. We're going to try a few things to see what works best. Stay tuned.
Yes some kinda pretty
Absolutely!
I love your video! I will be staying there soon. I will be staying at site 115 with a small trailer camper (6 x 8) Has anyone stayed at that site? I am scared the camper wont fit. Help please !
Thanks. 115 is a pretty spot, but only 14 feet deep.
Thanks for not giving up the fight!
World has changed!

Is it close to Warm Springs, GA?
It is. About 20 minutes from the campground.

Hi Betsy. So glad you found the channel and thanks for the sub. Safe travels.
Wow that was so neat. All pun intended
Thanks!
Love your videos!! Do you happen to remember what site number you were in?
Thanks much. We were in 309. Also check out 307. It was a nice pull through next to us.
Thanks!! I think I’m going to try them out in October!!
Have a great time.
I love the campgrounds in the woods I’m not the parking lot type parks I want some foliage between sites
This is a pretty campground. The top loop (500 sites) gives much more of that in the woods feel.
One of my favorite places, we live close in PTC. It’s a quick drive and peaceful place.
