OMG! Peru is amazing. I had visited Peru 3 times in my lifetime. I was just there two years ago. The fact that I’m Trilingual (fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese) makes it a lot easier for me to communicate with them. Already knew a bit through Sir David Attenborough, Anthony Bourdain, and general knowledge, but seeing the agriculture, the heart of the person who shared a drink with all of you, the smiles and the overall variety of fruits and vegetables have taken me all in. Machu Picchu is only the peak of the iceberg. Often considered a world wander and a masterpiece/masterwork of architecture and engeenery. Peru has much tp.offer from food to culture, people and traditions
@@thelifesampler It's very pricey. Because it's prob the most important touristic site, they need to regulate the influx of people and hte way they do it is by putting a big price tag for the whole trip. Big bucks to get to Aguas Calientes (the little town, in the slopes of Machu Picchu), another big bucks to go to the actual citadel and finally another price to get entrance. Also for some people they think it's very crowded, altough when i went it didn't feel that way. It certainly is very big so the citadel doesn't feel crowded, but some people like to have the "authentic" desolate ruins feel, whatever that means.
@@thelifesampler While if you have never been to cusco and Machu Picchu, going to there is a must, but you can also have much more entertaining ruin visits in Cusco that have pretty similar architecture to the inca Machu Picchu citadel. The most important one would be Choquequirao, which is very close to the Cusco city. Others include the Living city of Ollantaytambo, the Pisaq Ruins, the Tipon- Pukara alto Ruins, and the actual rebel citadel of VIlcabamba, the last bastion of Inca rebels. All of them in the Cusco region. The most important Inca site outside of Cusco region would probably be Vilcashuaman church, which is on top of amazing Inca architecture.

I think Peru is one of the countries that still have its original fruits vegetables and animals it has not been genetically modified. They still have some of the rarest fruits in the world. They have the real stuff. Would like to go there someday.

I'm from Peru and let me tell you this, in Lima you can find everything in those street markets, it's freaking hard almost impossible to be in a good shape and live in Peru, there are different dishes, sauces, all over the country. When I was living in USA, I really missed the food in my country. Simply, I can't live without it.
@@enoughofthis you can actually find some through yelp, I went to a couple of peruvian restaurants in USA, they were not bad, but it's nothing compare to the ones in Peru. My advice would be to visit Peru and try the best of the best here.

Because it's prob the most important touristic site, they need to regulate the influx of people and hte way they do it is by putting a big price tag for the whole trip. Big bucks to get to Aguas Calientes (the little town, in the slopes of Machu Picchu), another big bucks to go to the actual citadel and finally another price to get entrance. Also for some people they think it's very crowded, altough when i went it didn't feel that way. It certainly is very big so the citadel doesn't feel crowded, but some people like to have the "authentic" desolate ruins feel, whatever that means.
@@thelifesampler While if you have never been to cusco and Machu Picchu, going to there is a must, but you can also have much more entertaining ruin visits in Cusco that have pretty similar architecture to the inca Machu Picchu citadel. The most important one would be Choquequirao, which is very close to the Cusco city. Others include the Living city of Ollantaytambo, the Pisaq Ruins, the Tipon- Pukara alto Ruins, and the actual rebel citadel of VIlcabamba, the last bastion of Inca rebels. All of them in the Cusco region. The most important Inca site outside of Cusco region would probably be Vilcashuaman church, which is on top of amazing Inca architecture.

I think Peru is one of the countries that still have its original fruits vegetables and animals it has not been genetically modified. They still have some of the rarest fruits in the world. They have the real stuff. Would like to go there someday.

I'm from Peru and let me tell you this, in Lima you can find everything in those street markets, it's freaking hard almost impossible to be in a good shape and live in Peru, there are different dishes, sauces, all over the country. When I was living in USA, I really missed the food in my country. Simply, I can't live without it.
