I have been flying drones for 5 years and like most of you bought filters that were never really necessary when using a variable apature, I for one right up to purchasing the Mavic 3 went and bought various different filters but I have seen the light and Billy Kyle summed it up very simply and said "just use an ND 8" and adjust the apature to suite. It works and works well.
That last comparison between the dji and freewell showed a very severe color shift with the dji looking true and the freewell looking very blue. Did the wb change or is that the filter?
A black vertical dark bar appears when I attach the ND filter on top of the wide angle lens. Tried many attempts to make it better but nothing. the videos are ruined. I'll return the set to amazon. not worth the money spent.
I just received this set today and I am sad to say I also have the black/darkness bar issue on the right side of the screen using the wide angle lens whenever an ND Filter is attached. I tried multiple reseats and flipped it and tried the other way; black/darkened bar still on right side of screen on the Hasselblad camera; explorer camera is not effected. You didn't goof attaching the lens, my set is exactly the same. Such a shame because the wide-screen glass is so much better than the DJI branded wide lens; much less fisheye and wider FOV. So glad I bought from Amazon; because mine are going back, at this price they just need to work correctly, The ND filter attachment to wide angle option was the sole purpose I purchased this set; bummed out.
That was some great information right there Steve! Those lens of Freewell are too good! They really make the lens nicely, of all those famous drones! The comparison was very informative too, The wide angle lens always get me! Either it is from DJI or Freewell! Anamorphic lens are some new kind of thing to me as they are pretty complicated, making the photo a bit worse and then it should be fixed by editing. Overall, those lens are definitely a great accessory if you own a luxury 5 grands UAV!
I just bought a similar kit for my Insta360 GO2 cam and the CPL filter and Polarized filters are game changine and the ND4 and ND8 filters actually do help with getting better shots in direct glaring sunlight at 300+ feet agl since I cant find any way of making changes to the camera settings.
The "LITE" in AUTEL LITE means it is designed and made easy for beginners (just point and shoot). The DJI Mavic 3 is made more for people who know how to use a camera beyond point and shoot.
I wear glasses a have really bad vision without them Recently bought the DJI FPV and it was my first time using a VR headset I think you know where am going with this , naively I thought the VR headset would auto adjust to my eye sight... BOY WAS I WRONG. TO be able to see well I need to keep my glasses on while wearing the GOOGLES which is quite uncomfortable Would you know any brand of low profile prescription glasses which would accommodate the VR Googles or any other VR headset ?
Hello! I just got a mavic mini. I didn't have one of the required phones needed to download the app, so I bought a used pixel 3XL to basically use with the controller. I am trying to connect the DJI controller to my phone, but it says "RC not connected to mobile device". I have another drone and tried to use that cable, but I get the same thing. The DJI remote charges, so I don't beleive it's an issue with the remote. Have you heard of this, or have any suggestions?
I think it depends on the resolution. In this vid I went wide screen 4K. You can't film in F2.8 on a sunny day unless you use some massive ND filter. I've never seen a drone have a problem when filming in F2.8 or an even wider aperture when a quality ND filter is used.
No no, his Mini 3 Pro got delivered about 10 days ago but he hasn't got enough time to post its review... Get ready, as it will be on RUclips very soon and I am also very eager to watch it!
@@teamsaunz Great! Thats good that you got your Mini 3 Pro! Are you an experienced drone pilot? I am flying my Mini 2 since 1 year and 4 months and happy with it, also want to buy Mini 3 Pro now, Lets see if my father allows me, lol.

Exactly, ND8 is sufficient for Mavic 3.
Thanks for sharing captain!
Excellent Video! Love The Wide Angle. Thank You.
Thanks for explaining the difference between wide @angle and anamorphic.. Kind regards.
My pleasure. Thank you for watching.
Captain Ty, one day hopefully I’ll get the Mavic 3. I love my Mavic Air 2 . Great video Ty Captain

I was filming in 4K wide which is beyond 3840 of standard 4K, so that was my issue. Were you doing the same?
Hey Eric, Sorry to hear that if you could email care@freewellgear.com with some footage you may have as well as the settings you followed.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I believe I was recording in the 5.1k 50p and the 4k60p modes.

No problem with props in the scene when maneuvering? I remember a vid of the DJI wide catching props in the video on occasion.
This looks decent
Ok serious question, which is better exo drone black hawk, or husband zino 2022 vers 2, thank you 8n advance my captain.
Looks fun!
Nice shirt Steve 👍
Great as always
Nice video 👍, liked & subscribed, thanks for sharing ‼️
Thank you & welcome to the channel
Great comparison Captain however did you notice you had a "Furry Little Critter" which had attached itself to your T Shirt??? 😅😅😅😅
Looking to buy the mini 3 pro or the autel nano plus not sure what tho! What would you recommend?
In the near future I will have a comparison of those two drones
Ok now I want one
Seriously! Lol

What I want is a snap on teleconverter that makes the telephoto camera 14x or 21x. Probably impossible. So I can get better close ups of the girls.
Good video again Steve
it is great and i wonder if i have that one mavic 3🥺👉🇵🇭
Torn between this and the Autel Lite* -- any thoughts?

Have you figured it out by now? My guess is the problem is your phone and the connector location of your phone not making a good connection.
As for price.... freewell limit one per customer at 199...Usd?
Amazon 439 Cad....ouch.... I'll take a other mini 2 for that price please
Nice footage great channel enjoy the weekend
Please do F11s 4k Pro again because I think it updated and it can reach 10km and 400 feet altitude 😁😁😁
Can you see clearly even in the aperture f2.8 setting? Cheap wide lenses can only be seen clearly in f8 and above.

awsome review sir.maybe one day i will get a dji mavic. still to expansive. lol

You could make editing videos 🤔

Hi Steve....Liked the info but no M3 here.....
Personally I don’t like the curve, looks like GoPro , I see where wide angle would be useful with straight down shots to get more area
On pro cameras, when you attach a wide angle lens, there is internal correction software that takes the curve out. This does not exist to a great extent in the Mavic 3 so you'd have to do it yourself if desired.
PLEASE COM OUT WITH A MINI 3 VIDEO
I'm currently testing the MINI 3
