I'm so glad you show all the limbing and bucking. Most folks don't know that getting the tree down is just the start. It also points out all the additional hazards encountered. Great channel!
Nice truck! I like seeing the throwback to your grandfather! Its that type of respect for a much simpler time that got me into collecting old saws. Great video. 👍
Definitely been in similar situations with one big fir branch holding up an entire maple. Always amazes me it happens. Nice cutting and thanks for putting these videos together.
That logo was awesome love it and love the colors . Ya. That Maple tree was not cooperating 24:15 I am very interesting in the clutch cover on that 661
Miss the square body but I dig the new rig plus the boost sounds. I'm sure it will come in handy and open some doors for some revenue to come in. I just picked up a '67 Ford F600 with a dump bed to start selling firewood, no turbo whistle yet but now I've got a potential truck to drop a 12 valve in down the road..
Digging the old photo's, super cool! You got the KW looking real sharp. I'm looking forward to running the 661 suspension kit. It would be great if you could make one for the Stihl 361, 362, and 400 as well. I run 28" bars alot on my MS361's, they really need a stiffer suspension. Take care.
Good looking truck! I tighten my bars the way you use to. Lift up on the rear handle. Was showed that years ago and I never questioned it lol. I may try your way and see if there is any difference
That dump truck is nice, you should do a video on all your trucks I know I saw a killer Blue 70's highboy in one of them a while back. Sure enjoy the content take care!
I’m new to your channel and appreciate your insight on chainsaws. I moved back to San Francisco years ago for work and am now retired from Local 3 Operating Engineers. So now I make chainsaw log benches for my neighborhood out of felled Monterey cypress trees. I also cut slabs for future use. Which brings me to the point of this long drawn out comment. I’m looking for a Stihl 044 or 046. have a MS290 that’s too small and done want to borrow friends saws anymore. I’m hoping you can help me or point with finding a ported 044,13m crankshaft powerhead. I Appreciate any help with this 🤙🏽
Awesome video Gordy! I love the felling and fun you have with Jacob. I even get to learn a few things along the way. Thoughts on if either of the parts on the suspension kit would work with other model stihl saws? I have a 362 that feels spongy and was wondering if either piece of your kit might be interchangeable with the parts on my saw. Keep up the awesome work and content!
@@westcoastsaw1368 Looking at the part numbers that I could find online I think they will fit the 362 and maybe even my 261. I ordered 2 kits to try so I can let you know.
@PassingGas.PassingTime thanks must have missed it..need to order some more filters anyways .love those things..I have velocity stack and 462 filters ..
Just fucking kidding Gordy I can’t sleep bc I’m a dumb fuck and I dropped a chainsaw on my knee cap it’s the type of pain that keeps you up at night like a head ache. I was starting the chainsaw from a bench bc idfk why. And then the compression got real fucking springy on me and it jumped off the bench and onto my fucking knee cap.
Nice to see even the pros get their saws pinched every once in a while. Thanks for showing that.
I get stuck all the time 🤣👍

Gordy, do you make a clutch cover for anything besides Stihl. Specifically a 372. Maybe for a 572, because you can use a 572 in place of a 372 cover.
I was thinking the same thing a clutch cover for a 392 or 72 would be sweet
Yes it’s coming out very soon 👍
@westcoastsaw1368 absolutely can't wait what model is it coming for?
Good job
You oughta make that piece that only fits the 661 for the 500i
I know it is a must 👍I will get it on my list 👌
