Nothing rides like a RoadGlide. Absolutely Gorgeous country, thank you for sharing the video. To Ride The Rockies has always been a dream of mine. LoveLoveLove !
Since I started following the beginning of this journey, including the preparation, I find it so AMAZING the way you two decided to enjoy life at the fullest, so inspiring for so many people out there, including me!! Well done, you're awesome!! Safe ride and stay safe too!!
Well I thoroughly enjoyed that. I noted the bear spray, so Installment 2 of my bear encounter. When I stopped in that New Brunswick forest, a young lady had set up her tent nearby and advised me not to have any food in my tent as last year she had camped there and a BEAR! had come into her tent to eat her sugar ! When I asked "What did you do !?", she replied, "I let it eat my sugar l". Wise words indeed. Feedback. Excellent production values and you must go through a LOT of cameras, leaving so many behind when you set off. Also, smart move taking the Mrs. to Bear/Manburger Country. Should a bear situation arise, get her to run off screaming (stage left) pursued by the bear. This will solve TWO problems, and if no bear appears, and you run out of provisions, you will always have something to eat. Give Chris my regards. A Bloke. .
I also love that your not afraid to tackle dirt and gravel roads. Hubby and I will try such roads. We have a 2 wheeler and a trike. Hubby doesn't like the dirt but it gives him something to do when we stop. Lol.
Enjoying the adventure! Really feels like we are with y’all! Highly Appreciate the sharing of your Life Adventures! Ride Safe! We have also woke up to freezing frost on our Bike windshields ! Gotta Love it, It’s all about enjoying God’s great earth! Peace ✌️
I am new to your channel, new to motorcycling as well. With covid-19 I have not upgrade to a full m class, I am that new! Lol. Was turned on to your channel by Amanda Zito of as the magpie files. So happy to come along with you guys. Hello from Northern Ontario Canada.
My Wife and I really enjoy your videos and information keep up the good work. It is great entertainment for Us and like You Guys, We are preparing to do the same as You Guys soon. Like Your CCA hoody too!
I can’t believe you didn’t bring heated gear. I am still riding in January in MA but I really need my heated gear. Gloves and jacket are the best to purchase first. Love your videos thank you so much.
East Texans don't understand mountain travel. Glad you brought the liner. My first tour, my buddy also a Texan, said take your cold weather riding gear. It's cold in the mountains in AUGUST! That month in Texas is hot as hell.
excellent! I was in SouthFork CO the second week in July this year so I may have just missed you guys. That little pizza place and taproom there was awesome though! We came out from Missouri on Hwy 160 all the way. We continued on to Durango and then took the Million Dollar Hwy up thru Silverton, Ouray, and Montrose. We stayed the night in Silverton and the temperature drop was a big shock to me as well.
What a great video! This scenery reminds me a lot of British Columbia where we just recently moved to from Ontario. Once we're a little more settled in I plan on a few motorcycle adventures myself.
OMG y’all are making me want to be back on the road again! Love love love Colorado. Y’all are eating good - always looks very yummy. Y’all stay safe and keep the videos coming - enjoying them all.
Meet you guys when watching As the Magpie Flies..Some great country I also own a BMW K1200GT from Australia ,wish you all the best to you both on your travels
Looks like your settling in know. Hopefully no $100 harley fixes after your lid problem. LOL. Have fun ! Ps: Good idea on the bear spray , and works well on pesky humans too. 😎👍
@@TwoWheelsBigLife There's certainly enough of you, Richard. I know your svelte shape will aid the bike's aerodynamics, but how did you manage a catch like Chris ? There IS something teddy bearish about you. I think she has that spray is for you. .

I was wondering what hitch you have bolted up to your harley? I'm going to start pulling a trailer with mine next year. You seem to pull a lot of weight and its holding up. Thanks in advance Jeramie
Yes, your GW can do those gravel roads. 1975 GW did ok, my 2008 GW did them ok and now my "21 GW DCT also does them just fine. It's technique that get's you through. Read about it, watch videos and practice! 1. Stop looking straight down, turn your head with eyes looking where you want to go. 2. Maintain speed or slightly increase speed/ momentum. 3. DO NOT use heavy or tight pressure on your bars/grips; you do, you go down! This might not be the best explanation but use it as a starting point. Good Rides ( The wrecker; at the first sign of slowing, slightly increase the throttle -----slightly. DO NOT clamp down or muscle the front end when you feel resistance, relax your hands (even perhaps use only a couple of fingers) and mind a soft touch for control. The tires are trying to maintain their gyroscopic balance capability. Your job is to NOT get in the way; slowing or heavy gripping is " getting in the way" ! When you feel the first hint of resistance, that is your wake up that you are not using your technique properly. When you heavy grip it YOU are causing the front end to dig-in stronger and/or deeper, thus instability will increase. We all know what happens next.) GOOD LUCK

Thanks - no we are not retired. Right now just living on a small savings. Might have to do workamping long enough to earn some money to continue doing it more. Don't want to give up now.
Great fun. Makes it fun with your best friend and Wife😍🤗

IN 2013 BUT COMING BACK 100% !
GONNA RIDE AGAIN! 👍
Frick that fish looked so good! Ya'll always have the best food lol
Thanks. It was really good Salmon.
Salmon is the best!
Enjoyed the video. Good editing. You better break that habit of duck walking every time you start off on the bike before you wind up in trouble.

Durango to S. Fork then Lake city is 176 miles. South Fork to Lake City is only 74 miles?

If you can, dont miss Leavenworth WA. You will never forget it.

I think that your videos are great but they probably should win more viewers if you use a drone fore those fantastic scenery.
We would love a drone But it’s just not on our budget yet.
I would absolutely love to ride the places you guys go, but my goldwing wouldn’t do the gravel roads.😊
Never had an issue when I was riding wings. My Harley buddies turned around!

You don't say much about the motorcycles. How is the BMW holding up? What model is it?
Great episode! What is your setup for recording video as well as your conversations while riding? Well done
We use Sena 10c Pros for our helmet and recording set up. We have GoPros 7 and 8 for the bike shots. Thanks.
You can't buy the Editing skills though.

You need to try some Legend Revo A shocks on the Road Glide. Especially with the trailer. Maybe you already got them.
Man I would love some new shocks. This RG has 61k miles. It doesn’t bounce or buck yet.

What kind of bike is the lady riding?
She rides a BMW 07 K1200gt
Happy 4th to you guys, enjoyed the ride along and views including the Democrat eater!!!
Cheers. Thanks for watching.
On these isolated roads doesn't feel like your in the middle of nowhere?
sometimes for sure.
No.
You are right were you are meant to be.
You are only nowhere when you lose yourself, and that can be anywhere.
.
I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable motorcycling and camping with someone who is infatuated with cannibalism.
What are your ages? You both look to young to be retired.
