I can't say it enought. Once these parts are gone they are gone forever. You cant get them again. We had to go back to the Junkyard to pick what was left before they were lost.

Good stuff! The door panels did not look bad either. The bumper support also did not seem to be broken.

I would’ve taken the Vert door mirrors and the seat belt shoulder guides if they were in good shape. And yes absolutely love the junkyard vids. Fond memories of junkyards from late 80’s-early 90’s. They were full of smog big blocks of every make and brand. Land yachts with 460’s, 440’s, 454’s and all the GM corporate 455’s

yep, the days of the Hollander exchange books. had a boneyard that would even sell nearly new tire and rim package off cars for $10 each. great when you bought a used car and needed 'em. And the big block days, sigh. find an old 'wagon with the towing package and get as much of the drivetrain you needed plus radiator. sometimes all you had to do to the rad was pour in some laundry detergent and hook it to a running engine--it would act like a washing machine on hot water and clean it out for you.
Now GM 455's are collector pieces and prices, except when i find a private buyer who thinks it's a $150 lump in the age of LS. But if you find a 454 in a truck, there's a chance it's a roller block at least. But those were the days when swap meets were the FB marketplace. it was worth grabbing the cheap stuff you saw, and selling it a month later at a swap meet to buy the stuff you did need. sometimes i camped overnight in the back of my 86GT with bug netting over the hatch, and deals got done before the 6am gate opening :)

Just recommended a young friend of mine. So young that I used to sell parts to his dad in the early 2000s when he was still in diapers. He has done amazing work to his own foxbody. I sent him a link to this video hopefully he sees this! Just remember seeing these in the yard and now when you hear about one it's like talk of a unicorn 🦄

Damn man that maverick is a freaking monster, that thing is badass. You better be getting all of the fox parts you can because as you see there was only one in the junkyard and the majority of the ones that you will find now are verts. So as long as you are the one that is getting all of that stuff then you will be the go to guy and you will be able to name your price because you had to go pull it , pay for it, clean it up, do your thing to make it new again and store it and advertise it is for sale so you will have a ton of time in it and time is money and you will be the go to guy because you are the only one that I see trying to stock pile this stuff, Damn man sorry for the book 😂🤣 you won't make it this far anyway 😜

    • @Neomustangs

@@Neomustangs 🤣😂 I figured that you would thumb right past that long one 🤣😂 that is probably the only reason that the gt was in there was it was ratty. But you don't see them like u used to thats for sure . Well thanks for reading my book 🤣 sometimes I can't get it all out in one liners 😂🤣👍🏼
