For those checking this out with a newer version of Cascadeur, Quick Rigging tools is now located under Rigging View Mode. Thanks for the vid. I came here looking for a soluton to redo the root motion on an existing animation. I don’t see a root bone option in the rigging tools though. cheers.
I'm facing a lot of issues. I can import anything but Unreal animations. The keyframes and animation don't show in the timeline, despite the program saying it was imported, the timeline is empty. Also, I've tried to clean up the janky Plask AI animation and the results are impossible to fix. For now, I'll leave Cascadeur for manual (keyframe) animations.
thank you so much, that was helpful. ... i didnt found any good video showing the back and forth workflow... i guess taking the default manequinn from cascadeur animating it and doing the same export, should do the job aswell?
i will try and find some time to do one I am very busy with a project atm and just happened to notice this but I would use the send to unreal add on from epic unless you are having an import to blender problem
Hello. Need help. I export my character from Unreal (the skeleton is not Unreal), and import animation for it. The character is imported into the Cascadeur without problems, but for some reason he cannot add animation to the character. Like and settings yours, and by default tried. Writes "Error in pasting animation or timeline data."
hmm. Nope. My weakest video card, a GTX 1050, reaches 64%, tops (with Unreal + 3ds max + Chrome opened at the same time). I use Afterburner to control my video card.
@@johnhedley847 But have you solved your graphic card issue? UE4 only uses 100% when your level is on High Scalability set on and there are too many polys with 2K texture.

hello, I want to ask you when you work in UE4, is your video card also loaded at 100%? Is it normal or not?
