@@CuriousMuse It's like a snapshot of furious motion, it's a portrait of melancholy typical human behavior, it's got great colors and you can almost hear the sticks swish and thwack, for some reason it reminds me of Lion Hunt by Paul Reubens...

I all morning took a close look at some of Goya's series of black paintings.
Right, his works seem to have a certain something. I can't get them out of my head.
He was naturally in a troubled state of mind, allowing for his life and times,
but his works don't in a way seem to convey feelings that he was overwhelmed by anything, though they look horrible on the surface, and a bit strange, too.
That's how I feel about Goya and his works. Maybe i am wrong..
Well, he just did what he had to do as an artist when he was alone?
By the way, a word to Saturn: you need to reduce your carbon footprint by consuming less meat.. hehe 😅
You know what they say.. there is no vaccine for climate change.🙂

It looks like a lot of this is lifted from James Payne's good two-parter

Have or are you planning to cover Francis Bacon? Troubling and troubled guy but not without talent.
