You probably can’t see well due to the smoke tinting on your headlights. It makes a really big difference.. I do agree the stock ones arent great but the morimotos are a good investment there is also a cheaper one I think around 1000$ that look just as good as morimotos
My 2009 C6 Z51 6MT has 45K miles. My car is in way better condition than yours but yeah, it does go through batteries if I don't keep it on a tender. And no way could I own a Vette as a daily. And you can say a hundred bad things about a Vette but when you Punch It, it all goes away.....
You can definitely daily this car. I’ve daily driven mine 3 years+ now. 97k miles. I’ve only replaced the alternator & I chose to replace the battery with it. And I cracked my radiator from grounding out in a pothole. Otherwise great car, hope to keep it forever.
That is the issue with all the c6s. Of course it will affect a little but the tint is not the reason for blind headlights. They are just poorly ingenieerd

I looked into aftermarket headlights, but i don't want to invest close to 1000$ in the car that I can never get back...this is just me

Only if you replace the headlights with aftermarket ones. Bulbs will have very low impact on the oem headlights.
