I believe cats have such a natural charm , that it's simple and easy to have great photo results for all kinds of commercials without exploiting them in these distorted ways.
The fact I got to show this to my Communication persuasion class makes me love you even more.

Honestly, I just watched the Kittywood video, and I think that this video is good on its own merits - I actually prefer it and I'm glad it was made, regardless of who had the idea first. Even something as complex as Calculus was developed independently by two thinkers, who only realized they were working on the same project once the results were published. Cat videos are part of the zeitgeist - and in this case, I think the quality of execution is possibly more important than the idea.
the advertisers who put this video together are so proud of their satirical gifts...and yet they would do this for real, faster than my cat can say 'feed me', if it was truly the 'latest thing'. much more smug than cute.

I like it when the guy "sniffs" as the feline runs his arched back under his nose. Allergy alert! The graphical symbol for "porn" is too funny as well as surprisingly alarming!! I guess "all fours" covers it all.
Is this for real?? I mean, I have to say, it is an awesome idea and something someone should run with. I would have more of a tendency to watch it, definitely.

I have seen the future of advertising and it is catvertising.
The funny thing is, I made Kittywood Studios because cat videos were one of the only things I could think of that are not part of some corporate or capitalistic machine. So really, this is pretty hilarious.
