Hey I’m glad you’ve reopened your brewery. You’ve been a great resource for me. Please keep up the great job of educating our small business breweries.
Absolutely amazing stuff. Love the way you are documenting this stuff. Unfortunately I do not live in the US but if I ever do visit, I will be sure to stop by. All the best!
Really interesting. I have a cannular and it works great so far, but need to get or make a label applicator. The cost breakdown was great. I need to get a good supplier of cans, MoreBeer 200 packs just don't quite cut it for cost. Cheers!
No, I force carbonate all the beer here at Tanglefoot so it already contains c02. If you are naturally carbonating the beer in cans, it might be more difficult to seam them since there is no c02 pressure to keep the can structure when the clamping force is applied but could still work? Not entirely sure TBH.
No, make a fresh batch of sani every time I do a process on the brewery. Using on bucket throughout the day is cool, but don't want to hold it once used(unless in a spray bottle for spritzing things).
Good Stuff here!! - Just a thought about the label applicator. Looks to work well enough for this scale, but one improvement I could see would be with the labels themselves. It looks as if you are watching the back side of the applicator to see when the label is fully applied. It might be easier to design a label that has a distinctive mark on it that matches up with the front side of the applicator. For example, a simple decorative boarder graphic at the top of the label that contains a long line or maybe and arrow right at the point where it would line up with the front edge of the applicator and the label is fully applied. Maybe something to think about the next time you order labels assuming you continue to use this applicator... Hope that was clear.
I use a different applicator now but I think standard practice(for manual at least) is having some sort of marking device on the applicator that aligns with a consistent point on the next label. However, I just rely on my basic ass just getting into a rhythm. Cheers! 🍻
@@dh9478 it's a weird brand I found on Amazon that doesn't appear to exist anymore. There are other ones out there for generic bottle labeling(not beer specific) that work the same way
I did not create it. This label applicator is called Label Slayer and is sold online. It's about $80 for this model(12oz cans) but is hundreds of dollars cheaper than other commercial ones. 🍻
Videos are awesome 👍
Brewery in planning here (Ohio), so great to see some details while putting the business plan together! Thanks!
Thanks for checking out the channel, good luck on getting open! 🍻

I hope you can make it by someday! Cheers 🍻
Thank you so much! I was worried about being able to can by myself. I feel that I can do it now.
You got it! Cheers 🍻
Nice video bro! Watching you from El Salvador, Central America! Keep up the nice work, cheers!
El Salvador, nice! Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers 🍻
Awesome, hope to continue and watch you grow
Thank you! Cheers! 🍻
Great video! Love it. Please make a video about detailed costing of brewery, beer & overall operations you have over there. Inspiring stuff.
Will try to cover it all as best I can! Cheers 🍻
Great video. Thanks very much.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 🍻
Great job man, very helpful, keep it going :D
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the vid 🍻

American Canning in Austin, TX is great for canning supplies.
Great video, I learned a lot. Have you tried directly canning beer that’s been primed with corn sugar rather than from keg?

Great vid! Maybe missed it, but are you sanitizing the cans too?
Oops just watched the outtakes, got it! No need to reply 😉
Are you reusing the sanitizing solution? Do you just close the bucket with a lid?

Awesome
Yes. 🍻

What applicator are you using now?

Any way to get the stl file for the label machine? Seems like a great way to save some money around our small brewery.
