It's a lovely property, and because the bedrooms have ensuites it's well set up as a B&B. The gite was larger than I expected! In such a rural location, I'm presuming it may be serviced by a private well and septic system.

A beautiful home inside, and garden just big enough for space & for veggies etc. Not sure why so many homes in France keep the depressing old gray stonework - they tend to all look the same and that stone is not beautiful ! Just my personal opinion (:>) but I would have to paint the house if I were to buy it !
I think the external stonework is beautiful, so I disagree. I don't like bare stone walls inside a house though, and some people go overboard with this internally. I can just about tolerate one lounge wall being in stone, but prefer plastered walls internally.
It’s not grey it’s actually a mixture of earthy colours when you see it it person and there is nothing depressing about it. The reason it is kept is because it is beautiful, far more so than the ugly modern houses that are built today. Some people build new homes with natural stone features externally and internally replicating the character houses of the past.
@@missclaire4820 Thank you, yes they are beautiful and are very traditional and when you see the beautiful villages that they are surrounded by - then it becomes clearer to see. It is a matter of taste as to whether you like this sort of building - this summer, in particular, was very hot so not dull at all!
