      Thanks 👍 you better get one Jase before it's an evil banned catridge in Aussie.

    N170 or N570 is what you need. I use N170 and am pushing a 212 grain ELDX at 3156 ft./s. No signs of pressure either.
    26 inch barrel. 300 PRC.

      Oh yea. 26inch premium barrel is the way. That's some nice velocity. 👌

    Nice work champion. I've been interested and thinking about the 300prc but I've been using my custom long throated 300wsm built on a long action and I'm pushing 210gr Berger's at 2850fps and it's magic but I'm still interested in the 300prc

      I see. Probably would make sense to rechamber it unless your shorter than a 24inch barrel. I'll post how this platform goes at the range etc

    Can you get AR2225 in NZ?
    It's sold as RETUMBO in the US. Temp stable and is an awesome powder for the 300PRC.

      Yep, I can. Might try that as well.

    Hey mate any update on this rifle.
    I am also looking to a get a 300 PRC Howa like yours.

      Sorry man, I used it in my Chamois Video, but the latest update is I sold it. If you check my other vids, you'll find it but went back to my 284 Winchester

      @@hardantlerhunting9691 Ah I see. If you don't mind me asking why did you end up selling it?

    • @hardantlerhunting9691
      @hardantlerhunting9691  3 месяца назад

      @simonni4483 Well, the Stockys carbon stock was a piece of junk. The rifle shot well, but velocity was down with RL26 handloads. Overall, I was not impressed with the rig. My 284 Winchester ballistically is better in everyday with the 180 eldm so out it went. Too many dramas with the Howa and disappointment with the catridge. It's more or less a remarked 300 win mag...nothing special

    Hey did you have to get the muzzle brake timed or does it come with washer or lock nut?

    • @hardantlerhunting9691
      @hardantlerhunting9691  9 месяцев назад

      Comes with the locker and a crush washer. Best of both worlds

    • @nzaxemen

      @@hardantlerhunting9691 thanks you don't think it's too heavy I see it twice the weight of other ones was thinking of getting the same one for my 300 prc

    • @hardantlerhunting9691
      @hardantlerhunting9691  9 месяцев назад

      @nzaxemen it is, but it has 90-degree ports and top ports. I found it wasn't stupid loud, and the muzzle jump was minimal. I can spot my own shots at 500 yards, which is hard to do with 30cal mag.
