Jesus. This is brilliant. It combines so many different elements seamlessly. It goes hard and fast but is also really melodic. This is instantly one of my favorite albums ever.
Blown away by this album. Incredible. It has echoes of early Fallujah but with ultra catchy melodies. The best thing since VIRVUM and 'Dasein' by First Fragment.

Wither on the Vine - 240 Funny enough, the world record single stroke speed drumming is a little over 1200 hits in 60 seconds, which is equivalent to doing blast beats at 300 BPM for a minute straight. This drummer is near WR just from playing songs lol
I always thought Diamonds was 270 and that's how I've been practising it at home since we recorded that album... Now because of you I have to do it at 280bpm 😰

@@Kras013 yes and no. Archspire often goes with fairly low bpms with a lot of double time bursts filled in. you don't really see Spencer do many consistent blasts over 275, but he can definitly do other things much better

If Polyphia decided to do a tech death album, i'd imagine it would sound somewhat like this, unusually upbeat/happy sounding melodies, which i like a whole lot, incredible musicmanship and well crafted songs! .

I've been looking a lot for original talented tech death lately and I had a hard time looking for something like something in the same league of e.g. Archspire. so many good ideas here, but also INTENSITY and non-gloomy violent death metal.
