@shipwright2464 I dont know. I met a girl at work who is a fan, and that is the only other person than me who listens to them I have met in real life ever.
Single most underrated band in Metal and maybe music. George's lyrics and vocals amazing as always coupled with some of the best riffs, rhythms and general musical arrangement in metal. I hope every person that has enjoyed this will go out and buy the album (and their back catalog... breath and bone and the stones reach are the pinnacle of metal) as I have... they deserve it and we NEED to get them to a level where they will grace the US with a tour! Amazing job again guys! Nothing may ever top Desolation of Ares but I love that you keep trying!
Yes everyone needs to support the music we love. So we need to support them by buying the music & merchandise. That keeps them going on & helps them to do show more places. Support Metal Music & Musicians
You're not wrong! Absolutely stunning music, taking metal to the next level, it's rare to find a cd you don't skip a track, but Be'lakor have 5! I need to see then live!
Love this band been with them since 2016 when Vessels dropped absolutely thought they were dead. What spiced this up better is that Allagaeon dropped their new album a gew months prior - so my waiting wasnt too long. But I dont take it as a wait bur more time to appreciate older stuff of theirs
@@ГеоргиПеев-й3ы I've listened to that album 5 times in the last 2 days. I LOVE THE NEW AEPHANEMER!!! Blood River - Tales In The Path To Agony is another great 2021 melodic death metal album.
@@directedbyxanderjones8329 Yesss, I feel like Aephanemer get better and better with each upcoming album. Memento Mori was okay, like, the vocals didn't feel well-mixed/well-done; Prokoption was great, but now? This year's album by theirs is top notch. Hope they maintain this momentum. Oh, interesting, thanks, gonna hear out that album sometime
I have listened to each album by this band a thousand times and each time I realize that they make perfect music, a work of art that transports me to another level. I can't pick a favorite song or album because they all maintain such a high level. There are no groups like this today. The best current Metal band. Greetings from Spain.
It's always crazy how well arranged these titles in their albums are. They match to each other and their albums are a whole song and such a development from the first to the last track. You also can hear them for their own. But when you hear it from beginning to the end it's journey or a theater play which comes in acts.
I like this album a lot, it has the melodic complexities you would expect from the band since Of Breath and Bone combined with the rest of their legacy. This band is unique and I'm happy they have returned with their full potential and strength.
The best band I've ever heard. Literally. And the theme music to all my fantasy books soon coming out in a few years and will be made into movies. Belakor will be the theme music to these movies 😎
Man, I just found out you released a new album. I haven't been so giddy for quite a time. And now after having listened to it I feel calm and grateful. Haven't felt like that since Of Breath And Bones. I wish you guys all the best!
It is for me "again" a typical Be'lakor album.... The first time you listen to it, you get the impression that it's "okay". After the 10th, 11th, 12th time the "Be'lakor feeling" slowly comes and the music seeps deeper and deeper into the brain. And then suddenly it's there, the feeling of enjoying a "perfect" piece of music. Thank you very much for creating this feeling every time with every CD. Now only the corresponding tour in Germany is missing...
Well said. Of Breath and Bone hooked me when I first listened, but Frail Tide and Stone's Reach took a few listens to start to appreciate. I am still not really into Vessels, and this one seems... ok... Fingers crossed they visit Germany soon!
Top quality metal again. Agree that they are one of the most underrated bands around, they always deliver modern death metal with melody and a nod to the past too. On this album they give the heaviness a chance to breathe with the quieter moments and that makes it all the more effective, rather than a full on 100% growl and aggression style. They don't seem to have toured Europe extensively over the years and that may have affected their chances of making it bigger, which is a crying shame. They deserve success and are a band of the highest quality.
Be'lakor came under my radar through a recommendation w/ Ne Obliviscaris. This genre (and band) are the thing I have been looking for, since I had no clue what would some heavier melodic/power metal with growls be like. Superb!
I love all of your albums. I would rank this somewhere between The frail tide and vessels. Impressive that after all these years, you still maintain top quality
25:32 onward in Valence to the end of the track just pure perfection for me, the drum breaks and the overall band synergy would be just ridiculous to experience live, get yourselves back to the Factory Theatre in Sydney boys. We'll be there again in bought merch some 5 years later ;)
What to really give it to Be'lakor, they always manage to keep me either hypnotize or exited and pump on their albums, they are really something else as most bands bring out decent to good efforts on their albums and this guys just killed it.
I love this album, and the band is really growing on me. It's the doomy, Insomnium kind of melodeath: instantly recognizable as melodeath, but very distinct from the early Gothenburg albums.
Once upon a time on Pandora, Insomnium was the station at hand. Unbeknownst to the listener, Be'lakor would make an appearance and shift the atmosphere for years to come.
This band is on a level capable of creating new musical mementos, even for the seasoned metal head that has heard almost everything. Superlative, incredible work.
I love their music a lot. Every band like them has a few song that if I go about my chores or game grinding or other almost trance like thing there is a song or two in each album which ones rythms hit me and make me wake from that half asleep state leading to a feeling like I just woke up and regained some energy and as if the ~50 minutes passed in seconds. In this album it's Sweep of Days and the last one. But it makes most people I know say (almost everything I listen to does) "This is shit." or make them give concerned or worried looks... Most of Hungary is not too appreciative of such music.
All the album is definitely top tier Melodeath / Prog, but Much More Was Lost, still flabbergasted everytime I listen to it! It's such a magnificent track that up the ante riff after riff, I bow down to Be'lakor's awesomeness and genial creativity. Cheers from Quebec, Canada!
Aephanemer would like to have a word with you xD They're literally expanding the definition of melodeath, mixing symphonic elements with it - and no, it's not symphonic death like Fleshgod/Septicflesh, it's quite literally symphonic melodeath
@@ГеоргиПеев-й3ы didn't you read what he wrote? An ode to melodeath. Meaning this is a call to the early melodeath before being diluted with foreign elements.
@@dante666jt This isn't pure melodeath either, it definitely has prog elements. At places the composition/guitar lines definitely gave me a hint of early Opeth
@@dante666jt Plus, let's be honest, pure melodeath kinda started becoming stale. Did you hear Amon Amarth's most recent album? It was like super uninspired, it was boring, literally recycling old material and not even trying to make an effort to make it sound genuine. The 10000 times repetition of VAIKINGS RAISE THE SHIELD WALL HOLD DA FRONT LINE FIGHT TILL DEATH didn't help either lol. Repeating that same generic verse 8 times killed any momentum and decency the instrumentals may have given the song at one point or another
