I get somewhat saddened when people criticise other people's efforts. Steve Vai plays and records for Steve Vai. and if others like it ,Great. If it's not your cup of tea, move on. The guy is a Musical Genius in the same way Hendrix was. We need people who push the Boundaries, if they weren't there we'ed still be listening to Gregorian Chants.
Why can't people deal with dissenting views. This isn't Russia. Suck it up and let them have their say. Who cares? If you're an adult, I feel sorry for you.
Irrelevance Well, a musician's skill may not be "practical" but it is essential. And you're right about criticism. And I don't know why people get so huffy about disagreement which is as common as the common cold. It's there, accept it, accept difference, move on. Personally, I think Vai is an excellent guitarist or technician, and he doesn't need me to say that. His resume stands for itself. But a "musical genius"? No. He is not particularly skilled at crafting tunes. For that, I'd defer to Jeff Beck, Steve Howe, Jimmy Page, etc. I even prefer Joe Satriani's (Surfing With the Alien) writing to Vai's. Writing music is a challenge in itself, never mind writing instrumentals which are much more difficult to write and maintain listener attention. But people are open to their opinions. I just they'd be more specific about what they're talking about while leaving their fanatical emotional attachment behind while doing so.
I highly respect Vai, ever since I saw him play/perform in Crossroads movie. To me, he's in the top 5 guitatist of the world. I don't think he gets the respect he deserves.
I've met Vai three or four times now and each time I am amazed at how humble and soft spoken he is as a person, yet how demonstrative he is once he takes the stage. It's an amazing transformation, and one which far too many people see as arrogance which is completely off base. Vai is an amazing person and an amazing musician, worthy and deserving of all the highest respects. Being a guitar player, I know what it takes to be able to play and play well, but Vai's ability eclipses my own on such a level that it's both humbling and inspiring despite the gap.
Mak Muk What I see in you is someone that doesn't get it. That, or you're jealous. Possibly both. And it's clear you're not a player yourself or you would at least respect his technical prowess. The man is a master of his instrument.
Steve Vai is an ass kicking, inovating ,virtuoso beast on guitar. No one plays like him. This guy is a gift to human kind. He just keeps pushing the boundaries higher and higher.
Thank goodness for a virtuoso guitarist that can actually put on an entertaining show. People who bash on his "egotistical" live act need to realize that if they wanted a truly great guitarist without all the stagecraft, there's thousands of them out there (Petrucci and Eric Johnson are particularly statue-esqe), but this is Vai; he's really the only guy I've ever seen that could do this. Want something easier and more listenable that you consider "more" of a song? There's countless acts out there that can do it. I'm glad Vai does Vai; someone's gotta do it!
Almost 3 hrs of complex arrangements, virtuoso soloing, flawless. The stamina. He really is amazing and unique. And going fullout on almost everything. Not a lead vocalist in sight. An orchestra from another dimension.
At the end of the concert, with 10,000 fans screaming for him... Steve Vai visibly gives a thank you to his guitar tech grabbing his Jem. Pure class, genius on the instrument.
As a guitarist for 60 years, after I watched this I glanced over at my guitar and I didn't recognize it for a moment! I realize that I was transported, that my years of study was the ticket and Steve Vai was the vehicle evidently powered by the motive force behind music and at its service, as I would like to be. He reveals and confirms many things valuable to me, as I continue to find my own voice. Onward 🚀🎵
Watching this in 2022 shortly after Alex Depue passed away tragically. His innovative and modern virtuosic style of violin playing inspired me a lot and help me become the musician I am today. I took one lesson from him my junior year of college over skype to learn his insane chopping and playing at the same time technique.
***** Exactly! His passion is palpable, and always present. As is yours when you perform, Shahab. I've always been drawn to artists who bear their souls, so to speak. They show us their truth; that's what makes the music so universally appealing. Thank you for your kind words, my friend. ;)
Well said, bro! Steve is a guitar genious and a terrific human being... Whoever said otherwise doesn't have the slightest idea of what he/she is talking about.
Vai's music is very complex, technically as well as musically. Many people are not charmed by this extravaganza of vituosity and high musical standard. Vai has developped himself from a young player in the candy store of Zappa to what he is now. He covered a lot of musical grounds. He even writes pieces for orchestra. That is the difference between him and other musicians e.g. Joe Stariani, Johnson, Beck, Hendrix, Govan and so on. Vai is allways renewing himself, seeking the very limits of rock with excursions to Jazz, classical and world music. That is what I appreciate in Vai. Yes he is very present on stage, but he lives his music on stage, making it great shows to watch and listen!
I can't say who's my favorite of those you mentioned. They all are so special in their own way. But Vai is the only entertainer of them which makes his gigs so much fun to attend.
I get that some of us grew up with Steve's music and we'll always have him on a pedestal, but there's new stuff out there. Expand your horizons. You might be surprised.
Amazing. How Steve Vai is not a house hold name like Eddie Van Halen is beyond me. He is one of the best ever. And these violinists are unreal. Ive never heard a violin sound so bad ass.
LITERALLY EVERY THING is composed!!! Yes, you can get lost and sometimes it sounds like it all rolls into one but JESUS, this dude is on a complete other level!! WELL done STEVE!! TY for your life and I'm proud to share the same birth date with you!!! :D
Just so completely remarkable...what a stunning guitarist he is. I think he's probably the only guitarist to cover every base from every angle...He's such a frickin' rockstar...mind blower this guy is.
It’s been a while, I have heard Steve Vai. I apologise. As this gentleman’s music , finally got the better of me in 2018. I was listening to his Album. It was essential to reawaken me. On my birthday too. I was cooking lasagna . In the state I was in. I call this music grounding ❤
What a mystery is Mr. Vai in the midst of his transparency. This fine fellow writes more new and good works - no resting on the past with this man - No, he just keeps writing for the joy of playing NEW THINGS for the enjoyment of others. Although it's a little bit about Steve and the other featured players - it's mostly about the music; who else writes like this? Who else performs like these souls that Steve has gathered.? What a fine display of sound and stage beauty.
It is one of the most difficult challenges a critic, musician, fan, or viewer of this live concert may ever face! Although we all are "entitled" to our own opinion, one would have to be brain dead or a idiot. A hater of all haters, which garners no recognition from those of us in the know. As a lover of a wide variety of music, this epic show has impressed and moved me like nothing before. What a tour it must have been and why did I not see this band live on this tour?? Every member is phenomenal and I imagine that their practice sessions were off the charts. These guys are locked in tight! They are sick, but not where I felt like giving up and never playing again. Awesome musicians can make you want to never play again or be full on inspired, I chose the latter. And no, I will never play as good as Jeremy Colson on drums, or shred like the master Vai, I press on....seeking to lay down some tasty grooves and cool songs, thanks to a very influential DVD that this is. Steve Vai has put a stranglehold on the title of the best guitar player in the world, ever. He's tapped into the same stuff that Criss Angel has...not of this world.....crazy, wild, and wonderfully extraordinary. 5 of 5 Stars
I have extremely valid reasons for disliking Vai's music and attitude, especially in this concert, but even if my "hate" was based purely on subjectivity (because, you know, it's music) that would be legitimate. I don't think you have to be braindead to love this, why would you think I have to be braindead to dislike it?
at 2: 38:35, he ends on the most powerful note/tone/feeling/aura that i have rarely heard in guitar greats. they have moments, then they have a moment that lets you know they are one of a kind and deserve all their accolades of greatness.
Thank you so much Steve ... What a geat show. You are one of top students of the Zappa Academy. If you are in to that stuff this will fit seamlessly. You and Dweezil are absolutely doing great in keeping this music direction alive for upcoming generations. Let there always be a place for high end non industrial music.
I treated my self to a limo to London Hamersmith to see this increadable concert for my 50th Birthday & got to meet the man him self. What a great guy, very down to Earth and an outstanding musician. Thank's Steve for making my 50th birthday. Then what doe's he do a few years later, he pop's down to my home town Portsmouth and blow's the roof of the guildhall with yet an other amazing concert. Steve Vai a total legend. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
This show can only be described as Orgasmic! The level of talent connected and completely insync with each other is mesmerizing. The level of each player is remarkable. Love this video!
I'm a very simplistic player myself, "Economy" style as Mr B.B. King describes himself. But you know what? Vai is one of my BIGGEST idols. Why? 'Cause yeah, he's a shredder, but like most of my favorites, he has passion. I envy speed and dexterity, but with a lot of speedy players, it's just speed for the "look what I can do" vibe. I find myself asking "Where's the love here?" Steve is the real deal.
Such a demanding show for all the musicians. They nailed it. They are all at the top of their game. Great musicianship and chemistry. I had the pleasure of seeing this tour live in Providence, Rhode Island. We were stage side front center left. My nephew and I, were blown away. To be so close to the man, and watch him do his thing was amazing. It was a special night for the both of us. I’m so glad he released it on video, so I can relive that magical night.
Steve Vai - What a great guy. The consummate performer and writer. When I watch and hear this live performance there are a number of detectable elements in it. As powerful a player he is and as are also the other hand picked musicians - it is all about the music (hoping that this is not too trite an expression to use). NOT me or you or them - no - one feels as though Steve expresses it to be a distinct privilege to play for the listener. It is most certainly a privilege for the listener to hear these souls bare their souls.
I not only love the way Steve Vai plays guitar when he's in his element of expression. But also his stage presence, his demeanor, he has other stringed instrument musicians on stage with him, adding to my overall interest, and respect for his creativity. I've seen Interviews with Steve Vai where he comes across very humble, likeable, and wise, I can easily go on and on. But I'll just finish by saying, He's just the type of special person that I'm personally happy to be rooting for his long lasting success.
SV is a gracious man. He shares the stage with other musicians capable of lending a valid contribution to the sum total. Players capable of sharing their talent with others drive the continued progress of music that sounds good. Steve is a cowboy who rides the range bringing in other fine string players to the HOME CORRAL. This show's recording portrays this principle. Enjoy it now.
I play both violin and guitar. This video is a treat for me. I play a Mark Wood 5 string electric. Really enjoy both violinist', but I am super impressed with Alex Depue. I also play 6,7, and 8 string guitars. Steve Vai is a great guitarist, bar none. He is always looking for new ways to be more exciting and innovative. Love the new G3 tour with Steve Morse as well. Keep up the amazing work Steve Vai.
This 8 year old comment just triggered a long ago memory… 🤔 I remember having a cassette tape of Mark Wood playing electric violin like a madman … it was at least 25+ years ago if I remember right 😄 i had never heard anything like that ! I have played guitar 37 years myself. I might even still have it.. lost in a box somewhere…? Haha!
After all those years when i hear For the Love of the God i still turn on into the world of pure magic. I have chance to play with Master Steve Vai and Michael Angelo Batio at 1st may 2023 in Wrocław/Poland at World Record with 7967 other guitarists. I got Steve Autograph close to autographs of Steve Morse and Ashanti on same guitar-Fender Malmsteen Signature. Anyway now i know i never sell those Fender ;) Greetings from Poland to all fans of great music-music making by VAI and other great musicians.
Jacky J Jones Im glad someone else mentioned this. I do disagree with you in that this has fuck all to do with music (hey we can both have our opinions, i wont try to harp on you for that), but Bryan (as Im sure some of the other stellar musicians here) are in other bands and write/produce themselves. Even if you don't like this, you might like some of their works. "The Aristocrats" are an awesome progressive rock/jazz fusion band, really interesting stuff if you are a music enthusiast.
Robert Gibb the day the aristocrats do a song in a movie with wonderful stretches of Paganini's work you come comment. Now Steve Vai is a genius, and do not hesitate arguments to question their music.
And this gentle folks, is why Whitesnake, or ANY band, is just too small to contain him. Vai in a band is like Einstein teaching high school physics :)
What a fantastic performance! Steve Vai is an incredible musician who is pushing the boundaries as to what is commonly defined as rock guitar. What most people can't access here is music evolution. You might not like his music but what can't be denied is his innovation and originality. After 60yrs of rock n roll it's an incredibly difficult feat to achieve. Love the show, and performance Vai!!!!
Its much like Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Händel, Haydn, Grieg, Malling, Pagannini but transported into modern times. Usually i call this kind of stuff "far out" but i feel thats not enough credit for what Steve Vai here actually does. The complexity and rhytmchanges, the chordal moves, the zappaesk stuff thats inbetween, it all adds up to a somewhat orgiastic kind of expirience if the listener is in the right state of mind. You have got to be aware, relaxed, open to whatever comes around and then it all adds up and fits together. The solos are just the icing on the cake, tasteful, executed in absolute perfection, not a single mismatch nowhere throughout the whole set and there are funny parts like the thing he's got going with Jeremy when he's playing the acoustic guitar. It all ads up to a flawless masterpiece of art. Being a musician myself i bow down and salute you Steve Vai. Thanks for that. Thanks to all the other gifted musicians. Thank you for your effort and the way you delivered this bombshell performance. It blasts me away into dreamland, inspires me, carrys me away into outerwordly state of mind. Love it!❤
One of the best live videos i have ever seen : music, lights, feeling, sound, shooting, interactions between musicians, creativity, intensity, etc. Thanks a lot for sharing this wonder.
Absolute classic, probably my favorite instrumental guitar live album. The whole band is just so in sync and solid, despite how crazy these compositions are.
Hello. Thanks sharing this incredibly live ! I love watching all over, that's just amazing guitaristic performances, of Steve Vai and all his musicians. I appreciate also the moment when Steve uses the acoustic guitar, and makes a furious rythmics with the violonist and the drummer ! In fact, i appreciate everything, that's such a high music... Between classic and hard rock... I'm impressed by the way they all perform by memory, all the pieces of complexed compositions... I love all the expressions of Steve Vai when playing, they suit so well with his music and sounds, and sometimes funny ! And whispering like a prayer, just an amazing melody, and the passage 2.09 to 2.10 is a sharp performance in the expressivity of sounds like something human or even animals... Can i share this live on my playlist channel please ?! 🤩 🙏
I don't think anything that Steve Vai does can be considered "safe". He is a composer, and arranger and a band leader who plays the guitar in a style that fits the piece he is doing, complimented by a bad ass band, or sometimes a symphony orchestra. His pieces explore phrasing and melodies, runs and use of Hendrix-like enthusiams as he fits a face melting lead into his compositions which are extremely complex. Only a master of his instrument, and astounding composer and leader can make this format work. And he does, better than any of his contemperaries.
Jay Toomuchhustle -Most guitar half-wits and music critics arent't sure what they are hearing when they hear Steve. The way his compositions work may sound safe, as he always maintains a strong tie to the root, but through many variations that are actually complemetary 3rds and augmented 5 steps of that root. With many triad runs and insane arpeggios that compliment the chords played by wiener and his rhythmn section to create harmonies that pull the melody into dark, light, heavy and beautiful circular compositions in tones and colors that stray as far from his root as possible, but always giving the root a nod almost every measure by either running it, or layering a complimentary chord or triad that creates hauting harmonies that I see reminicent of John Coltrane's 2 solos in Giant Steps. All" non-studio" guys know is it sounds good together, and isn't that what it supposed to do? Ala Jeff Beck?
Zappa influenced Vai very early on in Steve's career.. It's evident to this day when he plays you hear Zappa played to the next level. Vai is a master technician also like FZ was. He is not for everyone just like Zappa was not either. Two greatly gifted individuals either way. Zappa was a composer and master musician. Steve Vai has become the same.. No surprise..
+Don Simonelli Zappa wasn't a master technician, not on guitar anyway. That's why he brought Steve Vai into his band, to play the parts he couldn't play himself. Zappa was a much more soulful, sleazy avant / blues player.
+Jggfg Feshhgg You read that where ? Vai tells it where he had a regular audition for Zappa's band and after a few tryouts he was asked to join his band. Zappa saw the talent and chops that this kid had. Bozzio tells almost the same story about auditioning for the band . They were young kids and Zappa saw what tremendous musicians they were. Frank was the Best.
You bet. I met Frank Zappa once in a lift in New York City In the Village. All I said was hi Frank. He nodded and shook my hand He was so much taller than myself. I will never forget that.
GRAZIE, GRAZIE, GRAZIE.
I was there live for one of his shows in SF at the fillmore. Loved this guy since I first heard him but his overall tone he was using there for years i.e. david lee roth crap was so whinny. Anyway my friend and I are guitar players well more like enthusiasts, this man is a guitar master musician, talent and a guitar god. I thought we would stay for maybe 4 to 5 songs tops. We stood there with mouths open for 2 hours plus. I love solos and runs and amazing fretwork and tricks but usually cant watch shit like that for 2 hours. This was not only entertaining but amazing. We stood in awe for the whole show until he played for the love of god. FUckin incredible live!!!! One of the best shows I have seen ranks up in my top five. Lets stop comparing these guys to each other, Satriani, Vai, Skolnik, Johnson, etc They are all amazing and immensely talented and really need to be experienced live in concert
Like him and his music or not(too many notes/flash for my taste), you can't deny that he's an incredible musician. Amazing control over his instrument.
CountryHouseGent Exactly! I don't want my shredding turned into a mystical journey into the heart of man's spirit where every note is the cry of joy, ecstasy or fear from our collective consciousness.

He's always on stage. What you see is an affectation. He's an arrogant dbag who plays wussy rock.

Steve is a "Rockstar", has attitude, body language and stage presence. Many people just stand and play, it's boring as fuck
Well said!
Steve Vai is great but I like his earlier stuff better like when he did G3. Yoko and her violin didn't belong on that stage
Yea, 2 feet above the stage was better... all of them really defy gravity
Almost 3 hrs of complex arrangements, virtuoso soloing, flawless. The stamina. He really is amazing and unique. And going fullout on almost everything. Not a lead vocalist in sight. An orchestra from another dimension.

Exactly
Steve should sing more, he's also a great vocalist
The second half of fire garden is killer I mean the whole album is great but his singing is top notch
It's amazing to think that such an amazing spectacle is available to anyone here, for free
All About Eve is a masterpiece and it's criminally underrated
@Inigo Gisbert yes, it has a ridiculous playback, the violinist don't even make effort to sound believable!!
One of the greatest guitarist's and nicest guy in the world if not the greatest and nicest. Love you paisanno.
Yes he most certainly is I have met him in person and he is so kind!
At the end of the concert, with 10,000 fans screaming for him... Steve Vai visibly gives a thank you to his guitar tech grabbing his Jem. Pure class, genius on the instrument.
10 000? It's a theater, not a very big one. 400-500 people.

Alex was an amazing human, if he in fact was one. Such a tragic loss. R.I.P. Alex 😔
The additional violins gives the music a colorfull extra bite👌🏻
To the kid who said no great guitarists have ever called Steve great...
LOL!
My goodness...
While on the bus during the Experience Hendrix Tour, my buddy Vernon Reid said EVERYONE on the tour considered Steve a "Guitar God". He mentioned that because we were talking about how kind and down to Earth Steve is. Vern said everyone was pleasantly surprised at how ego-less Steve is. As Steve's friend, I can assure you that is the Truth: Steve is one of the most kind and gracious people I've ever met. Great to his fans. Great to his friends. Great family man, too. I'm a disabled guitarist--not able to play at all right now, and he's ALWAYS helped accommodate me so I can see him when he comes to town...even if I can't stay for the show (due to my health) , he always let me make arrangements so my caregivers could take me to meet up with him. You cannot believe how much this lifts my spirits!
My 70 year old mother thinks he is the most kind celebrity she's ever met! As well as Vern! ;)
I've been a fan of Steve's for over 30 years.
I don't normally leave comments sticking up for him because his music does the talking...but the comment I'm referring to made me laugh out loud it was so ridiculous.
Steve is such a fantastic person, it irks me sometimes when the haters talk about him, and they don't know him. He's all about peace and good vibes.
To all of the haters: I hope you, too, find music that moves me the way Steve's music moves me. Perhaps you'd be less inclined to leave disparaging comments if you had this sort of happiness in your lives.

You're right. I'd say Steve is the most eclectic musician, when compared to Joe, Jimmy, Govan or Eddie.
I can't say who's my favorite of those you mentioned. They all are so special in their own way. But Vai is the only entertainer of them which makes his gigs so much fun to attend.
I love steve buuuuuut he is a little below beck and satch. Sorry
Somewhere...out there...Frank (and Co.) have got to be smiling ✌️😎🫧💥💥👆🎶
This might just be my favourite concert on RUclips.
The fact that Steve makes everyone else shine is what makes him shine.
Simply the greatest. NO ONE can touch him on electric guitar and his control over the effects!
than u r stil kids who know only bot steve
I get that some of us grew up with Steve's music and we'll always have him on a pedestal, but there's new stuff out there. Expand your horizons. You might be surprised.
@@palopo-t3v Almost all the new stuff out there sound great on the album’s but suck ass live.

This was the tightest Vai has been he make it look easy. Especially loved this Angel Food version with the violins
Steve Vai is a blessing from God!!!!!!!! No one is like him, no one...
Tosin Abasi-The Woven Web! You clearly have a lot of listening to do!
@@andythomas706 lol, who cares about that guy. More like clown
Has been one of my favorite guitarists for years! No one plays like Steve Vai!
The opening of this concert is amazing! Well… Steve Vai is amazing! Coming here in 2023 to remember this gem.
He was always ahead of his time, specially on his early years of solo career
Just so completely remarkable...what a stunning guitarist he is. I think he's probably the only guitarist to cover every base from every angle...He's such a frickin' rockstar...mind blower this guy is.
It’s been a while, I have heard Steve Vai. I apologise. As this gentleman’s music , finally got the better of me in 2018. I was listening to his Album. It was essential to reawaken me. On my birthday too. I was cooking lasagna . In the state I was in. I call this music grounding ❤
Greatest Living Guitarist on the Planet.
Vai can honestly make his guitar talk in a very special way. Way way out in his own league.
What a fine display of sound and stage beauty.
don't be deceived by his talent, which comes from eternal wizard satan.....he wreaks of evil works.
His choreography is amazing, here he is playing things most guitarist could never do while dancing, with the violinist. UNBELIEVABLE.
Гениален гитарист!!! И скрипки великолепны - мастера высочайшего класса! Браво!

Such tight arragements and flawlessly executed ! Steve speaks in a language all his own
An incredibly nice person off stage. Polite, humble and no ego at all. Likes to talk about his bees!
@@DaveDexterMusic find shit u like. sounds better than ur cd

Greatest concert in the history of the world
at 2: 38:35, he ends on the most powerful note/tone/feeling/aura that i have rarely heard in guitar greats. they have moments, then they have a moment that lets you know they are one of a kind and deserve all their accolades of greatness.
This might be one of my favorite concert videos of all time
I treated my self to a limo to London Hamersmith to see this increadable concert for my 50th Birthday & got to meet the man him self.

This dude is having a blast and it's fantastic.
Jason Bamburg Have you heard Jason Beckers music ? ;)
Not to mention the drummer is very solid groover with quite a lot of technical skill
But I'll just finish by saying,
He's just the type of special person that I'm personally happy to be rooting for his long lasting success.
Haha!

A necessary ingredient for creativity".

Wow I love how he lets everyone of his performces doing a solo... even the drummer! Such a nice guy
Good guy Steve!
I don't think Steve has an ego. He seems very humble. He hires musicians that are as good as he is and opens doors for them.
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Thanks for sharing!
Steve Vai be Spartan
and THIS IS SPAAAAAAARRTA
haha i love you man
Jacky J Jones Im glad someone else mentioned this.
Robert Gibb
the day the aristocrats do a song in a movie with wonderful stretches of Paganini's work you come comment. Now Steve Vai is a genius, and do not hesitate arguments to question their music.
funny that a spartan was actually playing......
SPARTA
And this gentle folks, is why Whitesnake, or ANY band, is just too small to contain him. Vai in a band is like Einstein teaching high school physics :)
YES.
he's a genius really. I guess the best fit for him was Zappa.
I´m glad that he is still so creative and experimental.
totally
but still my dream band is metallica with vai instead of kirk
guitar hole Interesting how Vai and Kirk had the same teacher, Satriani
Love it!❤

Absolutely phantastic! One of the best gigs ever. Vai's IQ must be over 200, with the other members very close to it.
Epic !!! Gotta love Steve …. He is incredible 🤘🏼❤️🎸🎶
+Jay Toomuchhustle EXBORWORIçANCE...,
Zappa influenced Vai very early on in Steve's career..
+Don Simonelli
Zappa wasn't a master technician, not on guitar anyway. That's why he brought Steve Vai into his band, to play the parts he couldn't play himself. Zappa was a much more soulful, sleazy avant / blues player.
+czgibson he brought him into the band to transcribe his music not play it
Ummm, no.
No, is true, yet he did impress Zappa a lot by presenting his music, transcribed! Wow!

Everyone would.

Words cannot describe this concert. It's unearthly !!.
I saw him over a year ago in Missouri. Some one so good and so humble, amazing. A true genius with a true gift.
You bet. I met Frank Zappa once in a lift in New York City In the Village. All I said was hi Frank. He nodded and shook my hand He was so much taller than myself. I will never forget that.

Un sincero ringraziamento per aver messo tutto il concerto.
We stood in awe for
the whole show until he played for the love of god. FUckin incredible live!!!! One of the best shows I have seen ranks up in my top five.
Lets stop comparing these guys to each other, Satriani, Vai, Skolnik, Johnson, etc
They are all amazing and immensely talented and really need to be experienced live in concert
Like him and his music or not(too many notes/flash for my taste), you can't deny that he's an incredible musician. Amazing control over his instrument.
