It's not the first time Eric has married a much younger woman. He married Brooke and Sheila who are both young enough to be his daughters.
Then he married Donna, young enough to be his grand daughter.

@@Someonesaidthis I don't think Donna is young enough to be his granddaughter. She is only a few years younger than her sister Brooke, who is young enough to be his daughter but not his granddaughter. I remember when B and B began in 1987. Brooke and Donna were not far apart in age.
@@Someonesaidthis In the beginning Donna was just coming out of high school, and Brooke was in her last year of college. So they’re only about four years apart.
But either way yes, Brooke and Donna were the same age as Felicia/Kristen
Stephanie really enraged me with her attitude towards the Donna Logan situation. Eric flaunted and tortured Stephanie with their relationship and did so in her FACE! Despite that, she was more determined than ever to win him back! Insane!
It’s laughable how all these women want Eric! He’s a weak wishy washy man.

Actually I think a better match for Stephanie would be Massimo. Those 2 think so much alike. If Joseph Mascolo(Massimo)were here, it would be the perfect opportunity for Mass to make his move. Remember Steph and Mass have a lot of history too. Mass has known Steph a lot longer than Eric and her children have. Their parents even thought they would marry. Remember the big reason why she married Eric was because she got pregnant with Ridge and thought Eric was the father, when it was really Mass.
I thought Bill Spencer Sr. & Stephanie were always perfect for each other.

@@kleeamd8274, Bill Spencer definitely! Eric liked the young sex, but when he needed someone to really understand him he went to Stephanie! Deep down Eric always loved Stephanie.

@paolocasarini3706 Ridge is Eric's biological son. Eric didn't marry Stephanie because she was pregnant. He married her to get the money from her father. That was his main goal. As for Brooke, yes, he's always cared for her. They do have 2 children and a lot of memories, but according to John Cooke, Stephanie was Eric's greatest love. His words not mine. I've always thought that Eric's greatest love was the young sex no matter what younger woman he could get it from. He had a beautiful woman Jackie that wanted him, and she was closer to his age, but he wanted Donna. I think that Jackie got the better deal with Owen!

I understand that Eric's kids don't want him with Donna. But in case they're forgetting over the years Stephanie has disapproved of who they've chosen to be with or marry, time and time again. Eric, on the other hand, has stuck by them and respected their decisions because he, unlike Stephanie, realizes his children aren't children anymore and have the right to make their own decisions, even when they aren't wise ones. Don't they think they owe him the same thing, even if he's making a mistake?

It was hilarious that Pam did have her fantasized memory in her eyes that she was holding a water hose to play on Donna. Other than Stephanie celebrating rather than splashing a glass of champagne on her, I wish if maybe Pam should have a cake fight with Donna instead the way Eric and Donna are married. :D
Eric is and always was a weak man. So is Ridge and Thorne. If they were not weak men, Brooke could never have come in and made the trainwreck she did in that family. Stephanie fought too hard and long for nothing, really. Here she accepted that her husband was a deeply flawed man and she was ready to move on.

Well, that's what I said. He knows that his children are grown up now, and he knows it's their lives and they should live them the way THEY want to. Ridge, Kristen, Thorne, and Felicia are old enough to make their own decisions. And they should realize it's the same thing with Eric.
Eric Forrester was half of a man with no spine or willpower.
Eric has been with the mother and two of her children.
No sympathy for Stephanie. Maybe if she had exemplified a kinder spirit, instead of bullying and manipulation, meddled less in the relations of others, tending more to her own, and been willing to actually have sex with her own husband, she could have saved herself a lot of heartbreak, and a divorce or 2. I truly never got the admiration for this horrible mean spirited woman. She wasn’t much different than her own Father who abused her.
