My daughter is 34 and I still give her a small easter basket. She will always be my baby girl 😊
I do the same thing my daughter is 23 years old
My kids are adults, I make them a Easter Basket with candy, maybe a couple of shirts, shorts/ pants, dresses or skirts for the girls. Plus I make baskets for the grand babies
my mom did Easter baskets even though we are adults. She did Christmas stockings also, now that she is gone I've kept up the tradition
The pineapple in coconut water is delicious. I highly recommend.
For Easter we get our grown children their favorite candy and church clothes. They’re happy and that makes me happy.
The coconut Pineapple is to die for
Yes! Now it’s on sale so I’m for sure going back for some
I think the jar it comes in is also so handy for other uses.@@shesinherapron
The brisket dip is amazing! We eat it with chips, cracker, veggies, by the spoonful..... 😂
My mother being from west Texas always pronounced "pecan" as "pa-con." She said it's not "pee-can" - that's something a trucker keeps in the cab for when there's no rest stop available!
I was a military kid so lived across the US.I guess I say it as a mix: pee-con.
Louisiana here. I agree with Texas... puh-KAHN
A southern pecan grower once told me it was pee-cons, a pee- can is what granny keeps beside her bed at night. 😁
Hi hon! My son and daughter are 27 & 31 lol I do an Easter bag with their favorite candy in it. I’m the mom who will always do something small for every holiday. My son in law gets a bag too lol. Our granddaughter is 19 months and she will get a pail with a few fun little toys. I LOVE to get them things for the holidays. 🥰
I have two teen boys left at home. I just get them their favorite candies & this year, I’m going to put it in a frisbee, turned upside down. Just a little something, until they’re past their 18th birthday.
Those pineapple in the jar, super delicious!
Our flying condiment is Louisiana brand hot sauce.
I'm 43 & my brother is 51. When he was around 13-14, he broke his kneecap on a trampoline, but honestly, he was on it with our uncle at the time. They were imitating karate moves & that's how it happened. I watched the whole thing happen & it sounded like a shotgun when it happened.
Oh wow! Scary.
Hello Kimmie! Oh my gosh, you made me laugh so hard with the comment "what's in the cup", gosh I needed that today!😂 Your channel is the best; yesterday I spent nearly the whole day in my pantry with stock up foods, wiping the area, and reorganizing. Now I go to the pantry to admire the job😊. Have a good day.
Hello, well we only have 1 and he’s 23 yrs old. We still give him a gift. Usually it’s something he needs. Lol can’t wait for grand babies.. Thank you for sharing your Sam’s shopping with us. I’ve been off this week doing projects around the house. And went overload on ordering online. Lol I need to go back to work.. Hugs from Texas ❤
My kids are 15 and 18. I give them each a cute bag with candy, seed packets to plant for Spring, maybe a face mask and some fun chapstick/lip gloss or nail polish. Lol
When my kids were high school....we didn't focus on bunnies and eggs as part of Easter, but we would just buy candy that was selling at the time so they could still get their Egg shaped peanut butter cups and jelly beans.
I always buy the trucks every season. I have around 10 if them. They are so unique. I bring them out year after year. I'm a tru k fanatic.
That's really Cool
For our Easter foods we have, a pasta course, salad course, stuffed artichokes, then either pork loin roast, or beef tenderloin, with roasted potatoes, and vegetables, dessert is Italian Easter pie ( pizza grande).
We have an only child who is in grad school at 22 yrs old and we have already started collecting goodies (fragrance, necklace, socks, lippys, favorite dry shampoo LOL)
her basket! We use the same basket since she was born, and fill it with age appropriate gifts/and favorite candy! I will make her (and future husband and kids) every year till I die! LOL
I did a basket until the kids went to college. Their baskets always had a chocolate bunny, and some plastic eggs with cash in them. I always wished we had done a night time egg hunt. Using flash lights to hunt for the eggs.
My husband is named Jim. He NEVER hears me call him by name, soooo, I whistle. Works every time!! Plus I dont get 20 misc men named Jim answering.
When I was young and I wandered away from my dad he would whistle a tune of some kind that was my sign to find him quick lol
My whole family has particular whistles that my family uses when we wander away from each other or we’re out in the yard
The Easter bunny thing made me think of another channel I watch. Not as much as yours though lol. It’s called just the bells 10 and for Halloween. They did a pumpkin carving contest in their kitchen. It was hilarious, different obstacles like oven mitts and masks. The kids had to wear. While carving their pumpkins. It’s a great video if you want to go watch it. She does a lot of cooking like you and she has a big family.
Kimmie, those Pineapple Spears are FABULOUS when you chill them in the fridge😋🥰🥰
Yes they are!
Oh my gosh. I laughed so hard at the trampoline comment! We had a trampoline growing up (no net). Eventually the spring cover wore out and the springs were left exposed. Too many accident happened after that 🫣
We have had a trampoline for our 4 kids (with a net) for 4 years now and thankfully have not had any accidents worthy of urgent care 😅
You should totally buy the water blaster for Mr. Toodles❤
My FAVORITE thing to get there are those pineapple coconut water spears!!! 🎉🎉🎉
I’m eating one right now. Yum! I pray you get your hands on some.
In the teenage years, I moved to favorite candy and something they were into. One year for our daughter that meant lots of Bath & Body and for our son it's been more games for the Playstation. Now as adults & she's married I haven't much but will have treats delivered occasionally or pick up Easter treats for the house.
FYI, there is a wagon online through Walmart that is $10 more, it does have different wheels, but it is 1/3 longer and has brakes. Same construction and holds up to 300lb. Excellent for towing 3 young children and their stuff ♡
Get the snow shovel!!
I have all adult kiddos we don't do baskets but we do place some type of Easter items on their Easter dinner plates
When I was a kid if we got separated from my parents, we would look for my dad’s hat. He was so tall that we could see it over the shelves. It was especially easy in the winter as he would wear a bright orange hat.
My daughter has had a few incidences with the trampoline. Twisted wrist, abrasions, and threw out her back. We meow at each other in the stores. 😂
I’m 24… I do not live at home BUT (as of last year) my parents not only gave my sisters and I baskets, but hide them and made us hunt in the house 😂
We are also big ketchup users in our family, and it has to be Heinz. Our Sams has the 3 pack of Ketchup on instant savings right now for $2.00 off, so it makes it $8.98 a really good deal. You are allowed 4 packs per membership and O always do the 4 when they have this so this wat we are stocked for a while.
Miracle whip … I go through that like crazy! 😂
Same!
The snowstorm we had yesterday in Utah bummed me out!! So glad to see the sun shining today. 😊🌼🌞
I was driving in it. It was horrible!
Marco Polo at Sam,s…so funny! My son’s Varsity Basketball team plays hide-n-seek in Bass Pro Shop every year. Good times!!
I'm an ER nurse and trampolines and motorcycles are big no-no's in my house!
Love Peeps !!!
They’re so good!!
We say pa-cons. I have a special whistle and to this day if I’m separated from my grown adult kids in a store I whistle and then they call me on the cell phone.. lol I have to go to Sam’s now!!
I got some of the pineapple spears in coconut....oh my goodness!!! It is like eating the beach!!
Oh yes!
I own the sno joe. I have a short driveway and sidewalk but i would highly recommend the upgraded model with the adjustable tines/paddles. Here is why: the sidewalk i would have to shoot the snow further down making it deeper and for my driveway i either have to aim it and hit my garage door or shoot it towards the street, i tried side to side and it became an extremely heavy shovel. It also gets caught on any concrete cracks or weeds growing thru. I like the idea of it but it needs a smooth surface under the snow(it did not work on the grass covered snow) and consider the direction you would throw the snow.
That pineapple is awesome it is so tasty. My kids fly through Ketchup also I need to go buy it there. I just love watching your videos and I love when you tell us what to buy at the bulk stores everytime I go to Costco or Sam's I spend so so much money and I never know if it's a good deal or not.
Always ham, scalloped potatoes, glazed carrots and all the extras for Easter
The pineapple spears are devine!! So good!!!!
Hi there! My kids love the pbj Bobo's! They especially love them frozen. We fly through ketchup and the Litehouse ranch! I always buy the Litehouse ranch at Sam's Club! Love your videos! ❤
I’ll have to try them frozen. Thanks!
The pineapple spears are awesome!! We used them at our wedding reception!
Yes my family has a call as well. “Look”, “Look” in a high pitched tone.
I have the snow Joe & it doesn't like snow & ice together & anything bigger then it is but it does work on the soft & light stuff.
Ketchup for us! Ranch too!
That pineapple would be so good chopped in little pieces and mixed with jalapeños and cream cheese to make a dip.. and put that smokehouse brisket dip inside a jalapeño wrapped in bacon and put on the grill. yummy they sell that at bucee store. ❤
Yum!
We buy Easter Eggs treats here in the UK Kimmy the younger ones get easter Egg, small eggs, and Marsh mellows and easter coloring the older ones just easter eggs in boxes. We normally go for either Roast Beef, or Lamb at Easter. great to see what Sam's Club as too offer over there. thanks for taking us with you. xxx
It's literally 72 degrees F here in central OH. I love picnic weather. Something happened last year, we didn't have any picnics.
It's all the same stuff in Florida too.
Haha kar karrr! our family make whale sounds (sometimes it sounds more like Dory!) even if they are grumpy they still reply :)
Trampoline always caused injuries to my grandchildren. Not for me. We do ham. Nice 👍 job, Dear. Thanks for sharing with us.
Love 💕 and Hugs. 💙💙💙
Once my kids turned 18, we stopped buying them stuff for Easter, but we are always buying stuff for our kids throughout the year
BUY THE PINEAPPLE SPEARS IF YOU LIKE PINA COLADA. SO DELICIOUS
The pineapple are the best. It taste so good and the coconut water oh my God I just wanna drink it first! 😂 I live in Puerto Rico and they don’t sell everything here like they do in the states
I love blueberries. It's a good anti-inflammatory food for my frozen shoulder. I got a 3-dollar credit at the store today, so I basically got the blueberries for free.
We used to fly through ketchup when our kids were home! We should have invested in ketchup!
I’m in Louisiana and we pronounce it puhcahn lol. At least that’s the way my brain says to spell it lol I absolutely love Sam’s. Our closest Costco is an hour and a half drive so I never get to go there so we go to Sam’s.
We have the Snow Joe Snow shovel and it works great. It works best on light fluffy snow, but you'd have to take it slower on heavier wet snow.
My family do the "hootie who" when we cant find each other.
Ahhh I cringed when you picked up the ketchup…it’s on instant savings now for 8.98!! But thanks for showing us around..I feel like I’m in there everyday lol
I know! I just saw that this morning. I’ll grab more. Like I said we go through it fast.
Buy the pineapple!!!!
They are DELICIOUS! Seriously...stock up! 😊
Bobos PBandJ are delicious! And I still put my daughter out a basket at Easter.
We're in Pocatello, and we bought a Snow Joe before winter started. It works really well, but our last snowfall was too wet and heavy for it
Just pounced on this video. I always enjoy going shopping with you ❤️🇨🇦
Yay! Thank you!
2 years ago Easter my then 6 yr old. Got a trampoline while my husband and her were setting it up wind came and took the trampoline with my daughter they flew 50 foot in the air came down on our swing set. Her head went through a 2x4 she ended up with a double skull fracture. Praise God she survived. Pleas stake your trampolines down!
Oh my goodness!!! I’m so sorry that happens and I’m so glad she survived it! 🙏❤️
This year I plan to give my teen a Easter basket but with some candies and hygiene products
Hi Kimmy! Enjoyed the video. Now that my kids are grown, I give them a chocolate bunny from our favorite homemade chocolate shop ☺️. Our flying condiment is ketchup 😂. And for Easter we do a ham, lasagna and all the sides. Have a great day!!🕊️💜
I found the big Russell Stover bunnies at Dollar Tree this week. $1.25 each!
Ty kimmie. I loved this.
Fun!!!😂❤
I wish you would mention more of the prices. Like the blueberry bushes
We have times where we go though lot of mayo!
I have the snow Joe and it’s ok but won’t do well in heavy/wet snow. I was able to clear 3/4 of my 2 car wide long driveway before the battery gave out. I got it last year about this time Ava it was marked down to $30. Wait a bit to see if they don’t put them on clearance. It’s handy but you’ll still need a shovel. 😊
Hubs bought the snow Joe a few years ago. It only works with fluffy snow. I’m in SE Ma and today is about 60. I know you grew up in MA, don’t you miss it? Dorene Weiss
I have a wagon that I got from Academy and use it for laundry! :)
That's genius!
Hubby and I go through ketchup like we’ve got a gaggle of toddlers in our house! 😂
Love watching your channel. I have a question. Do you discuss what you are going to buy for groceries or does Derek let you decide what to buy? My hubbies favorite line is you buy it and i will eat it. lol
My now 33 year old daughter and I meow at each other when we’re looking for each other in a store. We’ve done it since she was 8 or 9 years old. 😂
😂🤣😁🙀
We do “Hoooty whoooo”
I yell HI OH!
My husband can't hear anything but he can hear that. My dad worked for the Boston Herald and they yelled that when they were in where the printers were going!
No trampolines for us. We went to Maine for the summer.
Have you freeze dried the peeps? Try it. I have a batch in now.
No but I want to try now!
My children are 27yrs ( m) and 11yrs (f)
This year i have bought 1 egg each and my son has a couple of Manga books and my daughter has a couple Squishmallows.
Im hosting an Easter Lunch and egg hunt for my extended family which includes 10 "kids".. 3 small kids ages 2,4 &5- my daughter, 5 grown kids ages 16, 20, 20, 21, 21 and my disabled brother. Our hunt is mini solid eggs and small hollow eggs. I also have cute little chicken cards that hold lollipops for them to find.
we just bought one...🙏
My father-in-law from Louisiana said a peecan is what you keep inder your bed 😂
Love the video ❤❤❤
Thank you!
I'm a retired E.M.T., we used to call trampolines "Job Security".
Every time I hear "pee-can" I think of a port o john (potty). 🤣 We say puh-con.
Puh-con 😊 But my husband says pea-can.
I purchased a snow shovel a few years ago. Different brand. Wasn't very useful since it was picky on what kind of snow and what depth of snow it would work with.
I do baskets for my teen it’s just not as over the top as my little kids.
My mom always got us older kids a chocolate bunny and called it good. Younger kids got a little more
My nephew and my brother and my sister in law and my mom are going to ride the skunk train Easter Weekend
No grandkids yet so I still send son and his wife an Easter basket from Sees candy
We do a ham for Easter
