The Minecraft title even has a creeper face, yeah its like they became the symbol of Minecraft.
I was familiar with the face of Creeper way before I knew what Creeper or Minecraft is, it's just that his green, pixelated face is so iconic.

i was too scared to play any difficulty other than peaceful back in 2011. i slowly started putting the difficulty to easy and watching the mobs in the desert at night from my glass tower. eventually 11 year old me got brave enough to go down and fight the creepers in the day after the undead mobs burned to death. creepers were my first introduction to hostile mobs and it was so terrifying to me lol
I was stupid back then and never realise that you could lower the difficulty so i always created a new world everytime i died lmao im so ashamed of myself
I remember that the first time I ever made a Minecraft world, I wanted to keep it on peaceful to avoid encountering Herobrine. My cousins joined me, and we got to the Nether before we ever turned it on easy, LOL.

In 2016 I was playing Minecraft and I didn't know what to do, all i knew was that you need to go for some wood and some other things. Then I encountered mobs and didn't knew what they do, i died to a creeper and when I tried to go for my items, got lost in the night and a witch was spawn camping ._.

Nostalgia. Its hard to remember when I first encountered those walking proximity mines. Those mutated pig designs are the Icons of Minecraft and the Bane of all Crafters.
The mobs in basic mc are easy. I can counter a skele, kite a pack of zombies, and spider proof a house. But the moment I see creepers even after 5 years of playing I turn around and run. They are the most dangerous mob in my opinion.

@@blazing289 Shields only work if you see the mob coming and Creepers are like Rattlesnakes. You don't know they are there until you hear the hiss when your mining or using a crafting table.
I was half way up a tower of silk touch ore when the sun set. By the time i got back and slept all the creepers were everywhere. I had four blow me up literally one after another and i creamed at my game. I never actually get angry when i play and my mom was so concerned. Theyre the WORST

tbh, Mark played minecraft back in the day, he knew what it was but since he was using the server lords to cheat (and was incredibly drunk) he'd forgotten how to play for the most part

Creepers are still the scariest mobs to me. Your minding your own business and you hear a psssssttt from behind then boom. I jump every time.
Fucking hate creepers. They're so annoying. One exploded behind me, destroyed the front of my house and killed my horse. The fact that iron golems don't attack them makes it even worse

As much as I know how infamous creepers are, they aren't the mob I hate the most. I hate skeletons a lot more and even they aren't the mob I hate the most. That honour belongs to the phantoms, nothing is worse than a mob that flies.
@Neo Alteisen If you're careful and you stay cautious, you'll never get blown up by a creeper. If you know what creepers are and you know what they do, you'll only get killed by a creeper if they catch you off guard.
Sure, you can bring dog or a cat but that doesn't change the fact the skeleton and phantoms are annoying and hateable. What if you don't have a dog or a cat? Sometimes the game just decides not to spawn a wolf or an ocelot.
Phantoms aren't even that much of a threat to you. They're just annoying. They prevent you from being efficient at night and they created the worst of the Minecraft community who claim "JuSt SlEeP aNd ThEy WoN't SpAwN!" despite the fact you won't always have a bed like if there's no sheep to shear or it's a skyblock map.
As for the other mobs. Spiders and zombies aren't even a threat unless the zombies outnumber you. As for witches, just rush them. You get right up close to them and keep attacking them, they'll focus on healing rather than throwing a poison potion.
@@thanatosvorigan4986 but the thing is, zombies's speciality is outnumbering as they have the second highest sight range which they can see you 42 blocks away.(for an example creeper and skeleton's sight range are 16 blocks)
To phantoms I won't say sleep, I will say use bow as secondary weapon. Their hp is not high so if they really annoy you, just shoot them.
For skeletons just rush like witches. You can dodge that arrows even on hard and their attack speed is not the best.
But yeah spider never was threat. It's not annoying unlike skeleton or phantom, It's not attacks in group unlike zombies, and it has lower hp.
Spider is just there.
For me it's the vindicator
Lmao phantoms are annoying sure but easy to deal with. Just sleep man. The most hated mob for me are wither skeletons and piglins since im a nether kinda guy
@@RandomPerson-ui3xv People always say that. "Just sleep". What if you can't sleep? Sometimes the game never gives you enough sheep to even make a bed. What if you are playing a skyblock map where you can't get wool?

Blocks yes, not players.
It prevents them from destroying blocks, but damage to entities(and player is an entity) remains the same. And because you move slower in the water, trying to fight creeper in the water is generally a very bad idea.
Blocks won't get destroyed if a creepers in water, but damage still retains on entities.

My naive self thought the monsters that melee or wield a bow were the only thing that I had to deal with for the first time playing this game.
That is until this little green pop rock decided to roll up and join me on my mining demolition course to find diamonds.

2019/2020 was when the game got super popular online again, beating out fortnight as most popular game that year. Pewdepie and Markiplier are actually old players coming back and Jacksepticeye refused to ride the hype train when it came out so he only got into it after Pews told him it was worth playing.

Spider are the most annoying to me! The sound they make is nightmare to me! The creepers are literally walking exploding creatures but I can’t believe how scary and gross the spiders are! I’m playing creative but the sound still makes me shiver!
