This woman is everything. I giggled so much during the making of this, the video basically made itself.
And even though Root has many awesome lines the funniest moments are when Harold reacts (O.O) to her random actions
And I'm still in denial about Root.

well she was supposed to be on the show for only 5 episodes, then they saw the awesomeness that Amy did and decided to keep her. no wonder she became one of the pillars of the show! as you said, one of the coolest characters on tv.

brilliant and relentless , almost the same character she played on the angle series
She was certainly one of the coolest characters of the show, but she was always a bit of a villain, sort of. The sort of villain you love, but still a bit villainous. The lengths she'd go to to save Harold and the machine were a lot further than Harold would want! I thought it was hilarious when Harold asked her if she was abducting someone she gave him that "Well, for heaven's sake Harold, do you think the guy in the boot is there because he wants to be!" look. Poor old Harold and Fusco were always a bit freaked out by Root, and by Shaw, I suppose. Not that I blame them!
I really love how much of this show is just Finch being concerned.
And he has every right to be :D

I hate that I didn't start this show until recently I.love it sfm and Root is tied as my FAVE with Shaw, I LOVE Amy sfm and she's ACTUALLY why I wanted to start the show because i loved her on Angel, getting tired of her characters dying though lol THIS IS flawless!
I only got around to watching the final series last week. I wouldn't spoil it for anyone but I was in tears long before the final episode mainly due to this character.

Yes well I edited/uploaded this vid just before the very last episode so I was not able to include stuff from there (and most of those scenes were heartbreaking, so I couldn't have used them here anyway).
Yeah, the very final scene with Root is a flash-back to "young Reese". Didn't think much of it during the first time I watched, but when I saw it again, I realized Root was touching Reese sympathetically and (perhaps more important) the last words spoken to Reese in the series is "It's time to go..."
Oh that scene (well, on my 2nd viewing), really tore me up...
I agree, too heartbreaking to include in your fun romp of Root's characters.... that bunny suit (season 3?) will always stick in my mind.... fond memories....

Oh yeah that scene.... heart-freaking-breaking. I still can't get myself to rewatch the last episode because I legit cried from like the 10th minute all the way to the end.
