  • The bikes from the 90s and up are such good value, just tuning issues. This is definitely the case when Yamaha made the first Naked bike from there R1 sports bike.
Modern tuning, ECU flashing and Dyno's change the way these old girls kick there heels up. Great entry level 1000cc bike.

I just picked up a 07 with 42k kms all the fruit for 4 grand in Perth, it has done a few track days but seems pretty tidy for its age. Been loving the channel!

i just picked up one with 70k kilometers and im very stoked about it. One thing that concerns me a little is the exploding rotor problem, u ever had any problems with yours?

Congratulations on the FZ1. I think most of these problems should be fixed by now. I've not had that problem either. Enjoy the ride, I've done some simple mods for performance and Tuned the suspension. Check it out on the channel if you need more info, cheers.

I think you should by my 790 for your off-road adventures and treat the old girl with more respect :-)
