  • Fred from www.procycledyno.com.au has motivated all my bikes through his knowledge and know how with any bike and Dyno custom tuning.
    The 2009 FZ1 I purchased was at a great price so I had a bit of extra money to love her at bit more with a custom Woolich ECU map and Dyno run. www.procycledyno.com.au/conta... procycle dyno

      @@turbobike749 definitely a good think as a tuning tool.
      I didn't realise you could use it with a powercommander to help speed up the tuning.

    Great work..I think I'll leave the 19 Gsxs 750z with the Yoshy Alpha T alone as I'm quiet pleased with it all round but maybe wouldn't hurt to put the 2020 Fxlrs Low rider S on the Dyno although it seems to run great and sound good too with the VnH Eliminators 300 , just to remove any restrictions..

      A custom dual map works well because each cylinder has it's own map to keep your H/D cooler and finds out how your fuelling is at all of the rev range. Fred specializing in all bikes for all types of performance levels. I've left some links to his site, check out how many H/D riders get there sled to the place of optimum performance, however fast you want to go.
      My 2005 anniversary Fatboy 1550 was Dyno'd and custom mapped at 180000klms approx.
      I think it was more, amazing how much better the old girl was. You can check out my first lot of videos on this bike on this channel. This one was after the Tune. ruclips.net/video/1oKZX6uEdBA/видео.html

    Hi Wozza, just got an 09 FZ1 (love it) with a power commander. Any suggestions on an ECU flash in Sydney?

    • @WozzasSportsCruiserRides
      @WozzasSportsCruiserRides  3 года назад

      Look up Woolich racing. Go to the ECU flash for the Yamaha FZ and see who tunes in Sydney. Tune it with the Power Commander or you could send Fred from Procycle Dyno's a message asking for his thoughts on the best tuner in Sydney. Conrats on the bike, with a tune they really come alive down low all the way to red line.

    • @WozzasSportsCruiserRides

      No, I didn't notice a big difference in tank range, more so in h/p and torque. More bottom end, set the fan lower etc.
      A better, smoother ride overall. That you do notice. Cheers Keith.

      Hi Scott, very happy. Power delivery from 1500rpm. I've used Woolich Race tune on both the FZ1 and MT-10. Just have your pipe, air filter on before the tune. The ECU Map from Factory was detained in First and Second so that's where the fun is. Cheers.

      @@WozzasSportsCruiserRides Tx for the reply mate....good to hear u happy.....this was the only thing wrong with this bike in my opinion...that flat spot under 4k.....good to know its cured....I see when the guy tuned your bike....he put the power map from 3rd gear...and apparaently 1,2,3rd gears are all restricted.....so i rekon u need to change the setting to 4th gear (unify ignition group maps at 9 min 27min)

    The original fueling on the power commander was shocking, the guy was nice about it but its fueled lean from factory so taking that much off was negligent, i would say, if you buy one of these with a power commander you best check what and who dropped those numbers in, anyone giving that bike stick could have blown the engine and had no idea why

    • @WozzasSportsCruiserRides
      @WozzasSportsCruiserRides  3 года назад +1

      Yes your right. I got the bike at about 56k on the speedo so fueling can change over time, maybe not that much. The bike seemed alright just the low down response lacking below 4500rpm.
      It was lucky for me that I always see Fred for a Custom Map and Dyno and that's exactly what he said. I've done three track days now and about 75k showing on Speedo, Trouble free.

That was at approx 39000klms. I am at 103000klms now, Track days, Adventures, heavy rain, Dirt roads, off road and creek crossings. General maintenance only. All the extra and original parts come to 5k, 6 month rego and new tyres. I bet you $100 you want get one for this value, more around 6k to 7k. I would have been pissed off if I hadn't tuned it and blown it up doing 210klms an hour on track, not to mention the injuries that can happen in a crash to myself and others. These bikes are very underrated and very chocked up from the factory, if you want the best out of one of these take a read through this page.. you can turn it in to a beast, not just the top end but lower down mainly and the 6K-8K rpm range where the bike normally dips in power can be filled in.. Most will make over 150hp at the wheel to

    The FZ1 is flat under 4000rpms....not much u can do....perhaps its got to do with the 5 valve head......Bike actually has 2 power bands....one at 4000rpm and another at 7500rpm

    • @WozzasSportsCruiserRides
      @WozzasSportsCruiserRides  4 года назад +3

      Mine launches just after clutch out now. No flat spot anymore.
      The FZ1 was tuned from factory retarded in 1st and 2nd up to 4000rpm.
      It now has a fully, smoother power line all the way to get line.
      The aftermarket tuning at the time could smooth the fuel map with a Powercommander not the actual original map.
      The Woolich Race tune is a remap, fixing all problems. New technology for a older bike.
      Perhaps you should watch the video to understand how it works.
