- Yamaha FZ1 Rebuild! Part 1 In this video I start the rebuild process of my 2008 Yamaha FZ1. I bought it totaled from a Copart auction site unseen, no inspection, nothing. I just started bidding on this totaled FZ1 and the next thing I knew, i was the owner! I didn't know anything about these bikes when i bought it. Seemed like a good project though! Follow along with this Yamaha FZ1 Rebuild!

Absolutly fantastic bikes, would recommend dropping a tooth on the front sporket, 16t up front really makes the bike come to life IMO.

Great question. I doubt it. I have a sneaking suspicion the person that had the bike before me already did it. There was a handful of mods that were done that makes me think it maybe done already.

Hey thanks for watching! I’ll see if I have any video on that. Truthfully, some of it was busted and there were only a few screws and wiring harness to unclip.
currently rebuilding my 08 fazer, trying to find a complete tail section fairng as well as bolts, any chance you know where I could track one down other then $1000+ from factory lol
Man I have no idea. That’s the problem I’m finding with this rebuild. It’s hard to justify putting on expensive OEM parts haha. I’ve been buying eBay/amazon aftermarket stuff. Thanks for watching!!
