@@NinecoreNeil I noticed that Arena2000 sounds sharper than Matribox ii. Will Hotone sound even sharper and brighter? It is necessary for the modern metal/djent.

Don't know if you saw my little video but my Matribox 2 output quit working got on website talked to engineers they are sending me a new one but way engineers are talking mine is first one to have any issues
Great job as always mate, in your opinion, I am playing with a baritone in drop F with active emgs. I think the matribox is the best choice for palms and chugs in general, but i think arena it's also good and has a lot of feature, the app and so on. Which one you consider the besr for djent stuff?
Need Your Honest opinion!. Out of these, Mooer ge thru 250 and hotone ampero one which would You pick if You had too! I Love Your videos! Very inspirational and neep Your input for My budget rn
Thanks Only problem is I’ve not played a 250 or Ampero 1 only 300 and Mini Probably wouldn’t be right for me to advise I’d say both will be good the amp models in Ampero may be a touch nearer but I’m guessing
Thank You! I have the Hotone Binary hooked with Moore radar and an Uzi! The mini might be the answer. Love the VStomp/jogg/ect. CDCM software. The Amperos upgraded with FIRE? Anyway Need A Rectifier in a box ! The Binary is Awful! I need a real one! Thanks for Your Help and All that You inspire!
good review and useful opinion, I just use sonicake disgusting ir impulses, both in the pedal emulator and in the processor they are disgustingly dull, just take a normal impulse and that’s it, you can make similar sounds. The functionality of the arena is better, it’s a pity there are no send return loops.
*You should use a specific IR for the Arena 2000, as well as for any multieffect, you cannot generalize and think that the same IR works for all multieffects.
@@NinecoreNeil *You see it doesn't make sense to use the same IR for all multieffects, the reason is because all multieffects don't have the same requirements even if they are of the same range.*
I play 8 string and hate hearing any mud in my low end, I think the Arena 2000 actually sounds a lot better to my tastes. Always kind of liked the thin digital tones personally
@@greatbigeyeball 🤣part of the reason I don’t tune lower than b is because you need a totally different tone once you go to A or lower …. Or at least I think you do
@@NinecoreNeil For sure you do. I've been still researching and I'm debating the Headrush MX5, I don't think I need anything more professional than that. Thanks for the video!
Donner arena is awesome .Mic placement is a great feature. I own the donner but not the sonicake. I had a pod go as well. You can't go wrong whatever you chose.Just remember presets suck and you need to dive in and find your sounds.
matribox2 blows the donner away esp with 3rd party irs i just got mine using some bogren downtuned irs and it SLAPS chaging mics and all that is too much bs to do lol
Just received my sonicake matribox 2 today, I spent the entire day playing it and I gotta say its impressive!
Great to hear!
When SONICAKE MATRIBOX 2 sounded, it was as if the guitar cab was covered with a blanket.
Hello! Wich is better, donner arena 2000, valeton gp200, sonicake matribox, flamma fx200 I want to but one this
I only used two out of those
Valeton GP 200 From all the reviews I’ve watched just has more endless tones
Great review! That's what I was looking for! But I would also like an additional comparison with the Hotone Ampero Mini)
The Ampero is superior Tone wise but has less options for the switching

@@mirrorerror1818 it’s got a lot to do with ir ,these are just speaker sims cab sims loading your own ir would improve things massively

MatriBox especially with new updates ect 👍
@@NinecoreNeil So the recent updates improved the matribox?
@@nofilternoise you can upload presets 😃
@@NinecoreNeil so nice improvement 🤣
Unrelated, but can i connect my marshall valvestate amp to a valve cab? I wanna have that valve sound without paying the extra for the whole setup
Hi not sure what you mean the valvestate is a solid state power section so do you mean slave the amp into a power amp then into a cab?
@@NinecoreNeil I'm not sure. I don't know too much about amps. I just want to use my current amp as the head. I'm just wondering if that would work
@@P_B_FR so you just need a cab then my friend 👍
Make sure your cab matches the ohms of your head

Donner was brighter than Matribox which was more pleasing in headphones matribox sounded muddy
There will be more on the Matribox soon I’d take Matribox all day myself tbh
