    It's cool that your building this atc 200x. My brother Grandpa bought my 200x bran new 1983 now I own it. And I have been thinking of going through the engine it needs a new clutch and timing chain its never been opened. I just put new tires on it and plastic and fixed the fuel tank.

    I think you did amazing job on the bikes. I’m getting ready to do a 1986 SXATC how do I get the Vin number off or get a new one when I have a powder coated

    • @11GalleryATV
      @11GalleryATV  Год назад

      I don't think you can just get a new one, you are going to have to carefully remove the powder coat where the vin # is ... just FYI, it's possible that the vin # was sanded off before it was powder coated ... I have the title to mine with the vin # but mine was powder coated over as well so if I ever needed to prove the vin # I would have to remove the powder coating where the vin # is as well ... good luck

      This, now ... I have been a web designer, full PHP MySQL stack developer, graphic designer, marketer, etc. for various high end marketing agencies for over 20 years and I just quit my job last June to build ATV’s and do my own video editing, graphic design, and social media marketing business as well as buying and selling on eBay ...

    Im a huge VH fan. What are the chances youd let that bar pad go?

    • @11GalleryATV

      It's actually a Flite BMX pad (Van Halen - Jump inspired) - www.flitebmx.com/search?type=product&q=jump

    What does that little lever looking thing by the kick-start do? I have one on mine but no cable hooked up.....not sure what it's for

    • @11GalleryATV
      @11GalleryATV  2 года назад

      That is the decompression cable. It automatically releases the pressure while kick starting to prevent "kick back". I used a manual decompression unit from a TRX200SX top end but I still needed the lever there to seal the case.

  • @outdoorboyz1391

    Where did you get that decompression cam lifter peice mine broke and i cant find the right one

    • @11GalleryATV
      @11GalleryATV  5 месяцев назад

      It was on the machine when I bought it ... here is the parts diagram ( www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda/atv/1986/atc200x-a/right-crankcase-cover ) but that is going to be a hard part to find by itself ...

  • @seankennedy1181
    @seankennedy1181 2 года назад

    What is that finish you used on the engine and casing?

    • @11GalleryATV
      @11GalleryATV  2 года назад

      The black paint was chemically stripped by "Xpress Metal Cleaning" here in Phoenix, AZ and then all the components (crankcase, cylinder, head, and cover) were all vapor blasted by "Vapor Blasting By Design" also here in Phoenix, AZ. The vapor blasting process then seals the pores and completes the process allowing to be run as bare aluminum (no paint). - 11galleryatv.com/honda-atc-200x-build-complete-atv-rebuild-and-restoration/

    • @11GalleryATV

      @@11GalleryATV thanks just got this gem a few weeks ago great condition but noticed the clutch issue and it had like 2.5-3 quarts of oil in it

    • @11GalleryATV
      @11GalleryATV  2 года назад

      @@josemares1439 Wow! That's not good. That could've caused some clutch slippage right there. The 1985 200x oil capacity is only 1.1 quarts ( 1 liter). Drain the oil and refill back to proper capacity and see if it is any better.
