Thanks again to Brian, Brian, Scot, Carter and everyone else who helped out with the build! The Hasport team is such a passionate group of individuals, so many good vibes at the shop. Crazy how so much work can be cut down to just 40 minutes, we put in a ton of work in such a short time. I can't wait to rip this thing, hoping to have it fully track worthy by mid march!

I saw the cleanest stock EF the other day driven by an old guy at COSTCO. It honestly looked like it drove out of a showroom. I asked to buy it from him and he chuckled back - get in line.

I think the condition of this engine is pretty realistic. As someone who often builds with a budget, getting a known good local used motor, you're gonna have to deal with some stuff like this. As long as it's got good compression and isn't knocking then it's worth a shot I think.

I’m jealous of the clean cars in California. I live up in Michigan so there is no such thing as a clean 7+ yr old car. Not to mention if you have to work on anything, every thing fights you due to rust and corrosion. Nolan is such a cool dude. You know he will love and appreciate this cool build! I love how easy these cars are to work on and how reliable and tough they can be. Its has been a great learning car. Never drove on a track until I got my delsol put together specifically for just going on the track. Sure am glad there is a huge honda community that is there to support a lot of swaps and builds.

Don't forget to replace the bushings in the frame, At this age most of the control arm and frame mount bushings will be torn/worn. Sick build tho, b18C with B16 head will fly in a EF. maybe try GSR cams later, they are a bit more suited to 1.8L vs 1.6. GLHF! yeah its not cheap... so far I'm 3 times in to the cost of my car when i bought it, which was 12000.

Yall give me so much hope in building my Rex just a little better, ive been seeing a lot of comments around that the B series is on its way out but i really hope not. With the rise in prices it concerns me, but as long as we keep building them i think companies will still want to make money off of them!

1998. I swapped a b18 into my clean af 90 ef hatch. Would love to do another one now with all the parts available to make it bolt in. lol 😂 making axles and motor mounts and new harness and it was a nightmare but super cool once it was on the road.

Car people are so blessed. They get to spend all their money on something they love. And broke it and do it again.

As I watch this video. I'm truly amazed at what the guys over at Import powerhouse did for me back then. Alot of the parts we have now weren't available then and they figured out how to make it work. The car scene has Definitely come aloonnng way.

Brian just has that effect on people. Turning them towards swaps.
Yeah that AWD RSX project is still in the wings, boss.

Yes sir, another EF saved! Please dont smash anymore EF frames! You dont have to smash the side if you use a d series alternator pulley on the b series alternator. I have about 1/2in of space between the alternator and frame.

Old Honda's are awesome, when you can get parts on budget, and do a lot of work yourself. They can be cheap fun.
