What a great afternoon of shooting! That lens works beautifully. All the portrait shots were amazing - loved how you used the light & flares for added interest. Certainly worth a look for that price.

Adrian, nice lens review as always. This lens is an interesting option, I already have Viltrox 20mm and the quality out of it is excellent. My question is, how is the lens hood on the 56mm? The one on the 20mm does not have a positive locking action and has fallen off on me several of times. Thanks again!
It's a great little portrait lens by the looks. You photograph well Adrian - or maybe that beautiful light was a good bonus! Hahah. There's not many of us that like being in front of the camera.

After going through your video for viltrox 75mm 1.2 & now this 56mm, I'm turning my head to apsc nikon. Can you please suggest a hybrid camera for wedding and music videos where I can use these two viltrox glasses. Thanks again
If budget is tight. The video from the Nikon Z50 APSC is quite good for the pice you pay for the camera. It surprised me. If you want to see samples of video from the Z50 you can check out my channel.

You are a bad influence Adrian watched this when you first review it and now today again .Was surprised that the retail of this nugget is now US$180 and prices have gone up but managed to get it cheaper than the retail price . I do miss my 85 nikon D f/1.8 but now Im waiting for the Viltrox to come..
