Bravo !!! 👏👏👏👍👍👍

Turned out very nice. Personally I think it could have used more plant material to soften it but that's just me.
Thank you 🥰

Awesome job guys. Can I ask how you fixed the artificial grass to the edge ?
top notch, place looks fantastic.
great video.
Thanks so much 💚
Thanks so much 💚
Fantastic job looks really good, how did you build the back fence I never seen one like that looks great
Head over to tik tok and look for tutorials unit I'm about to do my back yard with the same fence
Looks incredible! May I ask what gravel you used around the edges? Thanks
Appears to be “salt and pepper” rock. Comes in different sizes. You can find it at just about any landscape/ building materials
Fantastic transformation. Great video. What kinda ball park figure would we be looking at to have all that done (minus the furniture of course) ? Thanks
Hiya for any details please message us on Instagram green genie landscapes
That’s a great job. I’m really impressed with the workmanship and I like the simple design. Less is definitely more! Top shelf
Thanks so much honestly means alot buddy
Beautiful planting scheme .. lots of texture and scent and lovely autumn hues
They will have their work cut out with all those plants!!!
Great job, what Protek wood stain colour did you use?
Great job lads! Can I ask what type/brand of paint you used to paint over the treated timber please? Thanks :)
Good!!!
Thank you 💖💖
how many cm of type 1 do you have to put and the slabs are only layed on mortar? that looks thick. No need for concrete in that case? Nice job
Hi. Looks great. Does anyone know if on the continuous fence boards you need to leave a gap between the boards end to end when you add the continuing board. these all look continuous with no gap but I wonder if they stay like that? Would they last as well as traditional fences with wider boards? I've seen some put vertical supports every 2 feet (600mm). Would every 3 foot (900mm) be sufficient with the actual posts being 6 feet (1800mm) apart? Finally, would a 4x4 post support a 2 sided fence like this with EPDM or tar paper in between the 2 sides? I love to build one but even though these are popular in Europe, no one seems to have them here in the US. I would really appreciate a response if anyone could answer my questions.
👌👌👏👏
Thank you so much 💓
Great job! What paint did you use for the Battens? And did you screw or nail them into place? Thanks 😊
Thank you Daniel appreciate it 💚 every job we paint we use a company called protekwoodstain there paint is the best colours and we found after using 100's of different painting companys there applies easiest 👌 for the battens we used Spax Wirox Cylindrical Head Decking Screws Silver 4.5 x 60mm 250 Pack as they don't tend to split the wood and look lovely 👍👍
Cracking job! Love a good time lapse ha. What are those flag stones called that your putting down? I'm assuming a project this big your looking at between 10/15 grand.
Thank you so much and they are silver grey sandstone 💚💚
Beautiful job.
Very smart
Thank you 😁💚
This looks amazing 🙌🏼 can I ask what you used to do the fence? Looks a lot easier than buying fence panels. Thanks
Hiya Vicki thank you really appreciate that ..we used 2 by 1 treated batton then painting it as you seen 😃 we also added a pizza oven to that garden once we finished 😃
Gorgeous! Looks like a Roman plaza! Nice work!
How much this kind of renovation has costed?
Great job, could you tell me what type of wood you used for the rear slat wall?
Hiya we used 2 by 1 roofing batton 👍
Beatiful everything!!!!! I would be interested in the picket Spotlight used to illuminate the wooden wall, could you tell me the brand?? Thank you
Thank you very much for your comments 😊 thats just normal 2 by 1 treated timber painted and sanded
@@greengenielandscapes3619 What lights did you use🤩🤩🤩?? Thank you
Hi, What size & type of battens did you use for the horizontal wall, please?
Hello Steve we use 2 by 1 roofing batton
The mini digger had me laughing. I’ve never seen one. It’s like a mini pony 😂
🤣🤣💖💖
Fantastic transformation, Inspirational & awe inspiring.
Superb job guys, the homeowner must be thrilled with the result.
what fence paint did you use please?
Nice garden, great job, how much did it cost?
Looks amazing lad's well done 👌
Thank you buddy 💚
This is beautiful work guys! What type of vertical fencing is that called, it looks so neat with the extra timber on the bottom....
Thanks so much thats just normal 2 by 1 buttons with a touch of green genie style 🧞♂️💚🙏
Amazing job!
Thank you 🥰
Could you put a firepit under a pergola? I guess I should be asking would you recommend a firepit under a pergola?
Yeah thats absolutely fine long as there is enough distance between the fire and the timber structure (pergola)
Nice job
Thank you very much 💚
What timber sizes you use for pergola?
4x4 for post and what is the sizes of pergola.
Hiya we used 4x4 post and 6x2 beams 😀
Well...it’s a great start.
Thank you
Looks neat 👌
How much would this cost?
Say.. exact same design, same materials, size , colours etc.
How much for materials?
How much for labour?
Thanks
Great work. How much did it cost in total?
Hiya please message us on Instagram for any personal information
looks amazing, well done! May i ask what shade of protekt is that pls?
Wonderful. Well done.
Thank you 🥰
How much does all this cost?
Garden?! Like just rocks and a plastic lawn?!
The only thing I would of added was to paint/ stain / the back side of the gray fence. Unlesss that heart redwood it most likely will rot shrink bend or warp because the back side is not protected. Doesn’t look like redwood. Curious why you didn’t protect the back side and just painted the front?
Beautiful makeover!
Agree. It does look like redwood but if it was I wouldn’t have painted it and just light stain or seal to show the natural beauty of redwood. Also if that is redwood which I really think it is because he is screwed if it’s not then that is one expensive wall!!
What stain did u use on the fence?
We used protek woodstain
Looks great! What kind of gray tiles/pavers are those?
silver grey Indian sandstone
What brand and what colour paint did you use for the fencing?
protek
Amazing
Thank you 💚
Great work! Cheers from Virginia Beach, USA!
Looks great. The fencing is superb! Shame about the fake grass.
Thank you 🥰
Nice job 👏
Very neat and tidy but there's almost nothing alive growing in this outdoor space so seems inaccurate to call it a garden.
Thats what the customer wanted buddy every garden is different and I'm sure you can appreciate your idea of an amazing garden might not be someone else's idea of a good garden.. cheers for the comment though 👍
Quality is work lads 👍 only thing I’d say is not a fan of the brush in resin grouts as let’s water into joints Flowpoint or larsens FJM is the one for me. Keep up the good work
The devil works hard but the man with the striped pants works harder.
Nice building work, but designed for the benefit of the builders rather than the client. No wonder wild-life is dying out in the UK's gardens.
*Edit* I've changed my mind on seeing it again and it's a definite improvement compared to the way it was: separate patio areas combined into one with a roof and seating area. Central lawn converted to something better designed with potential for growing into a low maintenence meadow. Path around perimeter provides potential for adding raised planting areas. More importantly, I'm guessing this is what the client wanted.
I was thinking the same thing. It’s just an extension of the house now, it provides nothing in the way of helping nature.
That's what I thought as well. Artificial turf does not support wildlife and looks ugly, to be honest. You could see before in that spot the grass was thriving, so I guess it wouldn't be a problem to have a real one there.
What happened to having plants in the garden very nice but a bit boring
Thank you for liking the work and we totally agree but we can only go with the customers wishes but we have encouraged the customers to have more plants and pots ready for this summer 😀
Fake grass too? Beautiful work obviously but I worry about the trend towards fake grass at a time when we’re supposed to be looking after our environment/climate
@@pb4012 the fake grass it's for saving water
@@manuelgonzalez3718 Not a problem in this country....
@@pb4012 yes i know !! Here in summer daily at 9:00 am we have more than 90 degrees
Nice work, overall, I like the pavement works. However, the result is a bit sterile and I strongly dislike artificial turf as it is not environmentally and wildlife-friendly. Also, a bit of shame to cover a nice brick wall. But that is what the client wanted I guess. A few pots here and there and some nice light would make it more pleasing I think.
Yikes, was that ground even compacted?
Obviously didn't watch the video then 🙄
Come to California and work on my backyard!!!!
co trzeba mieć w bani żeby deski malować po montażu i skakać po drabinie zamiast zrobic to przed
Jeszce nie widzialem zeby ktos malowal plot przed montarzem. Gdzie deski chesz pomalowac przed? Rozlozyc na golej ziemi pomalowac na kolanach i czekac az wyschnie a w miedzyczasie przylepi sie do nich kazdy syf? Mozna zamowic pomalowane ale wyjdzie duzo drozej.
All that wood buried under paint. Awful
Why does YT show me all these awful garden destruction videos, when I search for DIY garden makeover? They leave only built-over space and green plastic carpets. A real lawn is the only thing that is sometimes left of the garden (not in this). This looks ugly over the years, requires cleaning and soon replacement, and it costs a lot. In well planted gardens, nature takes care of itself, and only occasional cutting and pruning is needed.
That’s why landscaping costs so much if you have a million people doing it. I’d rather spend longer time and maybe have someone help me. I’m poor
Rubbish… not natural at all… there cud hv been whole load of plants in there. This has only one grass patch. How artificial and unnatural
