How to find the short in your electric fence. We try the Zareba Fence Doctor. Does it work?

Testing out the Zareba Fence Doctor to try to find the problem with my electric fence. Is this expensive tool worth the money? Also, soybean harvest continues, and a breakdown brings an early end to the night's work.

Actual high tensile wire is actually 12.5 gauge and is both a physical barrier and a mental barrier

I think our posts are too far apart. No matter how tight the wire is, they will find a way between the wires of the electric fence is not on.

We have a 100 mile fencer on just over one mile of fence. I’m not grabbing that one!

for 300 dollars for that tester which i think is a ripoff. there is a much better way to test the fence and it is free. take your wife by the hand. do not tell her what you are doing then say in a sweet voice. " honey do me a favor. see if that wire is tight.. and when she grabs it and knocks her on her fanny and you better be a fast runner and make sure you have a sleeping bag in the garage and a good attorney. i have gone thru 9 wives but hey! my fence still works
