Bocas ( for short) is on the Caribbean side of Panama, near the Costa Rica border. Bocas del Toro is a province of Panama comprising an island chain off the Caribbean coast, plus a section of nearby mainland with biodiverse rainforest. Isla Colón, the main island, is home to the capital, Bocas Town, a central hub with restaurants, shops, and nightlife.

From Panama ciudad, how do you get to Bocas : by plane or by bus as I do not drive ?
@@victorlionelnazaire685 there are flights around $250.00 round trip. The bus from Panama City - Almirante is $27.50 and the boat from Almirante to Isla Colón Is $6.00
I was there a few times between 2009-11 during a long-term stay in CR. I have longed to return. One day I will.

This is Linda, Larry's wife. We are hoping to go to Panama for an exploring and relocation tour just after the first of the year. We have been member's of the Jackie Lang Relocation Tours for a couple of years. I just retired December 31, 2021 and my husband 6 years earlier. We are looking forward to our new adventures in Boquette and other Panamanian cities/towns. We are so excited!!!

This is the best I have seen on Panama, as I just return from there the last day of August 2022 ,it was 18 beautiful days spent,we started out in Panama city 4 days ,then a long 6 hours drive in a coach bus to Boquette 4 day spent,then of to the most beautiful place Bocas del toro where we spent 6 night at the Bird Island nature resort,then off to Bastimetos Island 3 night at coco hill nature lodge,where we walk 45 minutes to wizard Beach ,then walk to red frog Beach, the next day we did it again ,the took a boat charter to Polo Beach for fish lunch ,then more walking days to wizard Beach because it is so beautiful there it is like a dream on the wizard Beach, then then the next day we overnight it Bocas del Toro and back to Panama city for 3 nights now we are done it was so awesome no one can't be unhappy after trip like that ,Panama has so much to offer that I didn't get the chance to do,it is worth it
There is a perfect place to live in Panama. It just takes a little exploring to find the best place for YOU! Sounds like you had an amazing adventure.
