    I’ve been using that oil dipstick for 2 years now. Great purchase & a must have. I’m surprised that I don’t see other Harley Riders in TX with them. It just frustrates the dealership if they do your oil change. They most likely won’t reinsert it right. So double check.

    Here is my question, what are you going to sell when the below happens?
    Harley-Davidson is planning to phase out motorcycles powered by its storied internal combustion engines, and will slowly but surely transform into an all-electric brand. Harley CEO Jochen Zeitz tells Dezeen that after 120 years of being famous for its big gas-powered models, electrification is the logical next step. That is, if the company plans on sticking around for another 120 years.

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  Год назад

      We reckon that we will still be riding our traditional V-Twin Harley's, and that we will continue modifying them to enhance our own riding experiences...that is how all our current parts were developed, and we don't see that stopping, even if HD is no longer selling them. There are millions of them out there.
      IF, and this is a big IF, we end up getting an electric powered bikes, we probably will be modifying those too.
      Here's a video we did on the subject- ruclips.net/video/ArMNyQiRcpQ/видео.html

      @@DKCustomProducts Thank You for the link. Very good video and information. Time will tell what may happen as new laws are being made all the time. Here is one that will be in a few more states than in California.
      California will ban sales of new gas-powered cars by 2035, but the conversion to battery-powered vehicles poses numerous unresolved issues. California made it official last week - the state will ban sales of gasoline-powered new cars after 2035. Gov.
      California plans to ban sales of new gas cars by 2035, requiring all vehicles to be electric or hydrogen powered.
      Seventeen states have vehicle emission standards tied to rules established in California. Now, they're weighing whether or not to follow a similar mandate.
      New York, Washington and more are expected to adopt California's ban. Colorado and Pennsylvania are among those that probably won't.

    Queston when checking for tank clearance, do you raise just the front?

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  Год назад

      Yes.
      Step by Step can be seen at this link, and I will also paste it below. www.dkcustomproducts.com/gas-tank-lift-kits-c4.htm
      1. With bike on kickstand, take the bolt out of the front of your tank.
      2. Loosen (do not remove) the bolt(s) at the rear of your tank.
      3. Turn your handlebars all the way to the left and raise the tank up your desired lift height to check for clearance issues.
      4. Turn your handlebars all the way to the right and raise the tank up your desired lift height to check for clearance issues.
      Be careful when lifting your tank, you do not want to hit against something (forks, handlebars, trees, blinkers, etc.) when checking for clearance.
