    Hey everyone! For my second Halloween watch me resin video, I decided to do a continuation of my adding sprinkles to resin video. I used bone sprinkles instead for this video and only added them into the first layer of the charms. I have seen quite a few other resin crafters do something similar, so I do not take credit for coming up with the idea. I really love how they turned out and the effect the sprinkles give to the charms. What do you guys think of these? Don't forget to Subscribe, Comment, Like and Share this video.

    Skip to 4:37 for when I get started on the resin portion of this video. I started adding all of the supplies at the beginning of my videos to avoid having to say the names of everything in my voiceovers. Everything is also linked in my description box. 💖💖

      Maybe you should put that at the very end of the video, but then again sometimes people ask questions about supplies before the video is over

    Your dirty pour method is the most innovative multi-color technique I've seen, and the results are always so cool! These shakers are spooktacular and so CUTE!

    I like that you sand your piece before attaching the film. Perhaps that would help to keep UV and epoxy together better. I made some shakers out of inspiration but since I don't have any UV resin yet, I have no idea how to seal the hole I drilled on the side. I've been thinking of using some kind of putty and then use epoxy... XD

    I used to be in a jewlry class and the teacher told us that if we sandpaper transparent film then you can draw on it with colored pencils and markers. Just thought I'd let you know :) sandpapering the film is a process though

    I know I'm a little late to the party here, but I'm curious; why'd you sand the backs of the charms before doing the bales and doming on the back? I didn't hear you say anything about it specifically unless I missed it.

    I've wondered how these do after a couple months or years? Do the sprinkles start to disintegrate or change the clear resin cloudy?

    • @SweetArtCrafts
      @SweetArtCrafts  3 года назад +1

      Julie Allen I have kept a few of my charms from that original video where I added sprinkles in resin at the beginning of the year and I only see a slight fading in the colors of the sprinkles. That could have been from when I used a blow torch to pop the bubbles that formed on the backs of them, because on the front side of the pieces they still look the same. And the resin in those pieces don’t look cloudy.

    It looks great. And your drawings are pretty. But poor spiders. All spiders have 8 legs! Thanks for your videos

    • @SweetArtCrafts
      @SweetArtCrafts  3 года назад

      Alice Thank you for your feedback on that. I noticed the spider confetti pieces that I bought and used in these pieces only had 4 legs as well so I wanted everything to match so I drew mine the same way.

    Love these, but why don’t you use reusable cups for everything? It’s so wasteful, especially with the amount of items you make :( I only use reusable cups, stirrers, etc. for all of my resin pieces I make and it’s not a hard switch to make!

    • @SweetArtCrafts
      @SweetArtCrafts  3 года назад +4

      Rachel Kwiecinski I reuse all of my cups and supplies. I don’t throw them out until necessary. I usually only use new supplies for the videos but when I’m making charms to sell I reuse. Also I clean some of the cups very well until they look brand new for videos.
