45 years ago, one of the greatest retellings of a classic story was unleashed upon the world with the 1976 remake of King Kong starring Jeff Bridges, Charles Grodin and Jessica Lange.

Nice trailer , I admit this version isn’t my favorite remake but I did by the extended cut and I do like the casting choice and the idea of this version. I just personally wish this version had the same tone of adventure the original and jackson remake had.
Awesome job on this trailer! The buildup towards Kong's full appearance was especially great.

This was a very well-edited trailer in celebration to an underrated remake that not only presented the starring role of Jessica Lange and the talented efforts in special FX of Rick Baker, but also a brand new retelling that has made a genre more iconic than that of what the 1933 film did by having beauty actually care for the beast and has become an idea that’s stuck with the mythology of Kong ever since and if not for it, the generation like mine may not have had that plot point be apart of our first experience to seeing that angle in Peter Jackson’s remake, my gratitude to Dino and Lorenzo is unwavering.
P.S: I myself have something planned to upload in celebration of the fourth-fifth anniversary to the 1976 film, another LEGO stop-motion film in about 7 days from now.

I didn't know that this Movie came at it's 45th Anniversary,but man time sure goes by and fly,I will give it a shot before I go watch Spider-man No Way Home.

Great trailer Jack, you need to make your own King Kong film with a big budget .This 1976 film is excellent though it required a TRex .Best actors and the most real Kong .

Good trailer! I think I'm going with this one as my personal favorite of the three versions. The 1933 and 2005 versions are excellent in their own ways but strangely and surprisingly I found this one more appealing.
45 years man sigh reminds me a little of how I got introduced from your channel I was watching stuffs about this great remake and then I found your review on this movie and sents then you've been the coolest dudes ever on youtube I've been a big fan of your channel for I think almost 5 years and you never let me down man keep up the good work

Bigjackfilms I can see you making a king kong film in the future probably the one Peter Jackson meant to make back in 96 but didn't sadly. But you I have faith you can make it 👍
I would love to see BigJackFilms either make a Let’s Talk episode or a community post on how he’d handle a modern adaptation of the King Kong that utilizes the writing of the 1996 draft but pitches actors today such as (possibly) Margot Robbie as Ann, Bruce Campbell as Carl, (someone I’m stumped to have) as Jack, Christoph Waltz as Englehorn, maybe get Hans Zimmer to do an original adventurous score that doesn’t utilize a Tuba, and director to maybe a new director that’s never tackled a big movie like Scott Cooper. However, due to his reluctance in doing anymore “what if” videos since he essentially opened Pandora’s Box in making videos that would take up his time in what he really what to spend effort in, I’d be best if he’d make community post.
