He probably just needs a new gear select arm and the shift star mod washer and new sprocket in the back. Most of the time the trans will snap a shaft or not go in to gear at all when bad. Great video the first in English not that many repair videos on the 190cc out there or performance mods like a zs turned into a daytona 4v. Have a great one till the next one 👍✌️👌💯🏍️🥂
It ended up being his chain was so sloppy loose it was skipping teeth when you were hard into the throttle. But yeah I have seen the shift star washer upgrade. But thank you!
@BaileyLuntsford hi mate I have a 212 4v and I have a new gearbox everything is free until I put the clutch on it pulls the box shat out a few mill stopping the gearbox changing any help would be much appreciated 👍
@ScottChesters-t2r do you have the washer and bolt tight were the neutral indicator wire goes it prevents the shaft from have to much end play if the washer not there it will have play from side to side.🧐🤔💯✌️
i have a zs190 brand new with zero miles. i have adjusted the clutch cable and lever so there is no slack. i can shift through all gears when the motor is not running but when it is runnning i can only shift into 1st and no where else not even back to neutral. Have you ever had this problem? Im being told it will fix its self if i ride in 1st gear a while and im being told 100% dont do that but instead to disassemble the clutch and it back together. any advice? oh and what size is the socket for the clutch?
man i have a zongshen 190 that i tried to replace transmission gears in and mine has these two weird washers. one of them is like beveled and i cant figure out to save my life which way they go. i would give anything to watch your assembly of that othe engine so i can see where it goes.
@@BaileyLuntsford the whole problem is that when I lifted the case half off, those washers fell from the inside of case. In pretty sure the beveled washer is supposed to go on a transmission shaft. I can try to send or post photo of them. I will literally send you money for this. My engine was brand new and now it's just sitting in a box. I paid 1000 dollars for that thing and had to buy another whole engine over this issue. I really appreciate your response . I'll watch your videos closely
I havent had a whole lot of experience with the zongshen motors but I do know they have the same issues with the secondary tranny shafts snapping just like the Daytonas do.

I don't believe so you'd need a whole different bottom end Casing setup

I might be tearing into a zongshen one here soon I could post up a video on it because I have to replace the tranny in it as well.
Are they the pressure washers for the end on the tranny shaft and crank to hold on the clutch basket and oil pump gears?
