A lot of them also have open parking, so double parking. After all that, few of us who don't have any parking. Can we claim that those who already have a covered parking should let go of the open parking for those who don't have any? Also, double checking, so owners who have the covered parking for the last 20 years, they too aren't legal owners of that parking spot?
I guess u r considering stilt parking as cover parking, which is in correct. Covered parking is only if they have 3 side full walls. Else they are also open parking

Owner has no role in this. Parking has to be allocated by Society to it's members based on the applicable Development Control Regulations of that area and Cooperative Society Byelaws.

Those who paid money to Builder Why should they suffer? They should have enquired first whether buying parking from builder is legal. Only Society can allot parking through parking policy. If space is less then stack parking option has to be implemented or rotational system through a solution passed in AGM.
@@virajpatil5601 not everyone is an advocate like you Sir, so ordinary people usually go with what the builder says. Rotational and lottery systems would've been okay if no one had been allotted any parking space from the beginning itself...but even these are not full proof as there will always be disagreements and quarrels....The thing is we paid a significant price for getting a parking slot allotted to us unknowingly that it was against the rules....but then again those who did not get parking should have raised this concern at the time of purchasing their flats with the builder and shouldn't have gone ahead in such a building instead of now harassing the ones who purchased the parking ..... Stacked parking can be looked into depending upon the space availability and costs involved...

Hi sir, mera s r a society hai aur builder & devloper bol raha hai ki ye meri private parking space hai matlab ground floor passage wo Mera hai aisa builder & devloper bol raha hai aur muje meri scooty park karne mana kar raha hai aur uske badle mujse parking ke paiso ki mang kar raha hai to is situation me muje kya karna chahiye iska leagle process kya hai
If car is stolen from outside of society premises on public road then you can file consumer case because society didn't allot parking slot but if society has allotted parking slot and Car is stolen from inside the society premises then you cannot file case against society in that case you have to file police complaint for theft.

You are right society cannot stop you from parking in open space. You can write email for details.

Yes Society is right. Society has to allot parking as decided in the AGM and get parking policy approved by DDR
