People forget he has played a year and a half. No superbowl appearances: Dak, Lamar, Carr, Allen, Herbert, Cousins, Baker, Watson, Murray, Jones. Criteria is very subjective. Goff, Burrow, Hurts and Brock have been to one.

@@ninerempire3398 It is but the goal posts are constantly moved for Brock because of where he was drafted and he isnt 6 feet 4, 240 pounds. He put up incredible stats last season in many categories. Would that be looked at differently if he was drafted in the first round. Does he deserve Goff, Burrow and Hurts money? He has the same number of superbowl appearances.
@@karenhardie1132 i don’t care about where he was drafted. This is a team sport and the whole team and coaching staff should be credited for making it to the super bowl. Purdy just has to do it year in year out and he will get paid. A lot of those qbs would have major success with this team

Purdy has only gone one round further than Allen why is he being held up as someone with this incredible achievement
What does Burrow really have over Purdy from a physical skill set?
It’s on record Purdy throws the ball 5mph harder, Brock is a better scrambler.
Allen is a physical freak but also turns the ball over a lot
Lamar without his legs isn’t a good QB
Herbert is overrated based on physical tools
Stroud isn’t really a freak, he has a little bit more arm strength than Purdy but it’s not by a lot and stroud isn’t a running QB
You could ask a lot of questions, Purdy produces, he’s accurate and can process at a high level
Purdy is nothing like Cousins! I’ll take Brock any day over Kirk.

These guys say what they say and then wonder why no one likes 49ers fans. Why is it so hard for y'all to accept Brock Purdy is not elite. Not even Steve Young can get you to understand.
Tbf I think the word elite gets thrown around too much. The only elite QB is Patrick Mahomes. He's proven he can win a SB without a ton of talent around him. The rest always fall short and people constantly say, well they don't have weapons. But according to those same people elite QBs are supposed to be able to elevate the talent of those around them. So by those standards, the only elite QB is Patrick Mahomes.
Explain how Purdy is not elite.

The only reason people refuse to say Purdy is elite is because of where he got drafted. It spits in the face of all the so called draft experts. They were wrong. And people hate being wrong. Purdy is him.
