Yeah, but his take on Lovie was pedestrian compared to the CBS idiot Adam Schein-Box...That said, most of these guys have a low knowledge level of the teams, and what they're trying to do...for being in the biz, they should be much more learned, and less herd following sound bite artists...I mean, if I were in that biz, I'd lock down what every team was trying to accomplish/how to get there/methodology---That way, a more honest and informed analysis of players drafted etc., MIGHT ACTUALLY HAPPEN

Watching GB's defense for the last decade (and a half) has been a special hell. Its like watching great players put into a position to fail by defensive schemes so old they are on life support. Then you watch other teams with deeper mediocrity at position be put in positions to succeed and your left thinking "They really need to stop hiring these coordinators based on what they did 10 years ago."

Right. His strategy doesn't exactly acquire a lot of buzzy prospects.
Draft a position by committee and hope one hits. That's not easy to do in the high rounds with big names.
Draft guys who were once hot prospects but didn't do well the most recent year. Their stock is down, but they've proven to be able to play at a high level.

They're trying to build their own Legion of Boom. • @outsidelookinginprod

I do not care about whether or not this team has a number one receiver. In fact, I like the idea of a "receiver by committee", with no stars demanding the football, no one for Love to lock in on as the primary target. It's harder to gameplan when there is no clear number one and all the receivers could be the primary target any given game or the ball is distributed to everyone. I think Jordan Love was at his worst when he was treating Christian Watson as the number one receiver and forcing passes to him. A lot of his interceptions came from that (thinking Raiders, Steelers, and 49ers games). So there is no need for a true #1. That allows more flexibility when game planning.

Quarterbacks transitioning from college to pro is a real crapshoot - a lot of great college players bust in the NFL and there are surprises both ways. The Packers have (in part) been fortunate. If Rodgers left and Bret Hundley stepped in the story would be very different. Love looks great but he's not a "lock" yet. He will be soon if this year remains on the current path.

They have literally zero holes. They have not not good starters everywhere but they also have depth at every position. Corners is a little light but it’s not terrible. They also have free agency to add more help anywhere they could use it. The team is so young and deep they they can keep everyone next year too and after next years draft this team is going to be insane!😊

2 completely different scenarios. The packers already had a good team and knew that love was going to take time to develop
the falcons are coming off a mediocre year and then spent a fortune getting kirk cousins which was their choice BUT then they get penix with pick 8 instead of trying to build the rest of the team especially the defense with a 3 technique or an elite pass rusher. Plus penix is ready to play now but he won't cuz of cousins.
Penix can be a good to great NFL QB, but the falcons should have chose one or the other and not both which is why it's a bad decision.

I have always said that usc and Ohio state qb (looks like stroud may change that)… have horrible qbs… I thought the bears should’ve kept fields and drafted Harrison jr 1st and got either DL or OL help with their second 1st round pick….

He may turn out okay or even great but i swear I have heard a bunch of people say the bears are the favorites in the north. Really? Williams hasn't played at all yet. But hes better than Love apparently. People can be so stoopid

Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

It's very telling you like to listen to him. It says something about you.
I'll explain, Colin is an unathletic mouth piece who never experienced any sport at a high level. Just someone who sat on the sideline and wished he could. Now he has strong opinions but no substance to back it up. You may he that same person which is why you like listening to him.
