- In this video we are at Lake Lanier in June fishing for Bass with crank baits. At times the fish key in on craw fish and a Spro Rock Crawler is an effective bait when this occurs. @@FCPFishing Man they sure are, about a month ago I caught a huge one on a 4” jerkbait..🤣🤣..He had big dreams also, got the end hook deep too. I had to get out my forceps to get him off safely!!
Some good bass , and a chunk of a blue gill on a crankbait . I tied on a perch Jerkbait that I painted the other day and on the first cast I caught a jumbo yellow perch. I sure know about being in a budget…..
The big Flat Head was a surprise. Weird how they all of a sudden key in on craws.
Good sound, good video. I went to hartwell Monday and only caught 3. I'm gonna have to find shaded areas that hold bass.
I usually fish the Tugalo area this time of year at Hartwell. Should be topwater time up there.
I was in balus Monday , one good one on a fluke and a couple missed blowups on top water. I also hid in a couple docks to escape the rain. I feel like I got rained on more compared to your video
We got pretty wet, I had to put my camera away so it didn't get too wet so I didn't get much film of the rain.

The gloves are Columbia PFG, but I'm not sure I would recommend them. They were ok when they were new, but they are falling apart and didn't last long. I will have to get a new pair soon and I'll probably get a different brand.
Always enjoy your channel. Took my two grandsons out Wednesday morning and we had best day ever. Fished south end over brush piles using a fluke. Caught 22 by 11:30. All top water. Amassing morning. Hope your feeling better.

@@FCPFishing Good morning Dana, that Rockkrawler is a “BAD DUDE”, it gets serious strikes from ALL species , looking forward to seeing your next vid, I’ve been doing good on the topwater bite , caught a huge bass last week on the Jackall Gavacho frog in the Black Gill color, it’s a poppin and walking type frog, check it out, it gets “HUGE” results 🎣
@@chaunceydavis5290 We keep trying the topwater, but they haven't been interested lately, which is unusual. That will change any day now.

I been catching mine on the worm and some on the top water I think iam going to try the jig with a craw trailer this Sunday since you think there going after crayfish

You can always catch some on a jig, the cranks cover more water and sure have been working for us.

I always have to laugh when I catch a bluegill on a crank bait. The lure doesn't even fit in their mouth!
They have big appetites! I caught four that day.

Interesting is the right word, stick fish, plastic trash, Bluegills and Flatheads, and while you were there, some good Spotted Bass too. What is Summer without a Summer shower? Hahaha.

Audio sounded fine on my end. Y’all had a pretty good day in spite of the rain. I haven’t caught anything on topwater or flukes lately at Hartwell. Been catching most of my fish on a T rigged worm in about 16-20 ft of water. I’ve got a rock crawler tied on. Might throw it some in the morning.👍🏻🎣

The Rock Crawlers have been really working great, depending on what area you are in.
