All that work for nothing? I didn't consider the damage I was doing.

Man, stumbling on this and odd to point out but you’ve got the EXACT body type as myself, and the same thought process going into this holiday break.
Home workouts, eating properly and actually keeping track of macros without drinking and the same thing happened with regard to that stubborn inflation-belly fat garbage. We live in a society where NOT sharing drinks with family and friends…or on dates is almost perceived as an act of disrespect or antisocial behavior….which makes no sense at all. I’ll have a few drinks with my family for Christmas or special occasions 🎄but that’s as far as it goes these days. Just not worth reversing progress to feeling awesome.

I’m 45 stopped drinking 5 years ago at 40. Honestly the best decision I’ve made next to having a family .

Damn brother! Nailed it again! I’m going through the exact same thing right now. Been eating right and putting in the work, then having some wine or a few bourbon. I will be giving it a shot for real right after the holidays amd try and make it stick until I can change my relationship with alcohol.
Glad to hear this message today, keep it up man you’re killing it!🍻

@@JosephKavanagh-m9g I'm really happy this hits home with someone. Yeah no point in setting yourself up for failure. You got this!

If you've lost count of days at 2 weeks in, you don't need to wonder if you'll go back to drinking alcohol. You will.
