    Remember the logic of separation: If Quebec can separate from Canada, then parts of Quebec that wish to remain in Canada can surely separate from Quebec! ❤🇨🇦

    • @bingodeluxe
      @bingodeluxe 8 месяцев назад +4

      The logic also says that a nation should be able to choose it's political status (UN), respecting the principle of territorial integrity. Québec as been clamoring for change in the so-called "confederation", asking for more power over it's affairs, a concept that would benefit ALL provinces and territories and found itself on the receiving end of massive canadian intolerance and refusal to change an outdated, inefficient constitution. Just look at the state of Canada today, plunging into chaos and ask yourself why many québécois want out.

      These are unifying measures. Everyone should be able to communicate in French in Québec cause FLASH NEWS: we are a francophone nation and territory. That does not mean the elimination of English, it means the perennitization of the French language in north America. Why should you feel so threatened?

    • @tolsab
      @tolsab 8 месяцев назад

      @@bingodeluxe If they were unifying measures, they should not be "mandatory" and parents should have the right to choose what type of school to put their children in, whether in English or French.
      The good thing about this imposition is that when you force children to do one thing, they do the opposite. For this reason, they speak Quebecois at school but at home, with friends and at meetings, they speak English. The average young person wants to study and go live in an English area.
      Now, every qualified professional must know more than one language, otherwise they will lose many job opportunities.
      Regarding your question, it doesn't affect me, I reached the peak of my career and achieved my goals. On the other hand, it will be more difficult for my children if they want to live somewhere else, it is one thing to speak a colloquial or standard language and another thing to speak a professional language, which is more complicated.

The problem is that Canada doesn't recognize the difference between Québec and the ROC and has always tried to "equalize" us so it wouldn't have to deal with that difference. This point of view is shared by quite number of québécois. People living in a francophone territory should be able to at least function in French. Not everyone has your same opportunity.
      On the other hand, I want to tell you not only to watch national news, but also international news and in other languages and you will see what happens, on the side of the RUclips window you can put the language you master.

      Montreal was created by the Irish. They should separate from Quebec.
      Let them speak French in Quebec City, Saint Sauveur, Trois Rivere etc.
      Montreal use to be a real International city 1967, then the separatist came everyone left 1976 with all the business and money.
      Taxes are the highest in North America and it’s get $11 billion from the rest of CANADA .

    If you build it, they will come. Sound familiar? If the Quebec Government has to use the power of legislation and the power of the purse to ensure that the French language survives within Quebec; then you know automatically that what they are doing is wrong. If the government would just let the French language follow the normal market pressures within society, instead of picking winners and losers; French would be almost non-existent in Quebec, within 100 years. It is a dying language; let it die. Within 300 years, there will only be three operable languages on the planet; they will be English, Spanish and Mandarin.

      Un autre angryphone frustré qui n'a rien compris. Le Québec EST francophone et doit le rester. Dictatorship!! It is interesting to see that words have no meaning anymore. If you were living under dictatorship, you wouldn't be able to spread your hatred like you are free to do! We are talking about a democratically elected government applying the rule of the majority. Don't like it? You have 9 provinces and 3 territories to choose from.
