This video reminds me of my trip to Tokyo. Amazing people, amazing city. Found myself in some basement at a punk rock show in a "pit" of about 30 Japanese punkers. Punk rock transcends language barriers.

Nah I get it. When Japanese peeps get into something, they get deep. They know more about the history and whatnot than many people. I learned about reggae from one of my friends there. He was just a regular dude, but he was like an encyclopedia. It’s the culture. Very cool.

Are there posers who choose to look like homeless hipsters.... maybe in the late 80s , but mostly it's the rat bike version of style, the knowledge of living in a corrupt just fucked society but not wanting to become a monk or a recluse mountain man because women and friends.... while being a social reject ... it hasn't been a great life so fuck off with the fashion critic shit
