- In this drill at Philadelphia International Airport, shift commander Capt. Robert Wilson directs PFD ARFF trucks Foxtrot 6 and Foxtrot 3 to establish an escape route for "trapped passengers," and then to continue extinguishing the fire.
I miss my days as a USAF firefighter.
you did taht this way ? Come on !!!! its literally bullsh... nonsense. You attack fire long before you approach!!!
Reminiscent of Chanute fire school. JP-4 fuel pit fires. When you could burn for real rather than simulation.
I like the tool some rigs have that is a hose arm that has a thermal camera on it with spike for a nozzle. They can spot the point in the plane where the fire is, drive the nozzle through the skin, and flood it directly.
I wonder if the ozone layer would take it as a “ Drill “
Doubtful that they're wasting any Halon on a drill.
Who cares?
If their were anyone in that plane they'd be dead because of the heat i dont see where their was an escape route
whoa!!!!! arm chair fighters at it again!!!!!!
