Thanks again for the great build and tips. Here is a tip for 123 blocks - when the thin factory coat of oil wears off with use that rust starts to corrode the surface. Before the rust starts, just wipe them down and give them a quick coat of dullcote or other clear coat rather than oiling them and it will seal them up to prevent more rust and you won't risk getting oil rubbing off on your work. I wouldn't do this for blocks actually used for machining but for modelling purposes it works fine.
Another great looking kit Jason!! It's also great to see you and your son team up to produce these kits. Your experience, artistry and skills, combined with his CAD skills makes for a great combination. The "father/son" time is pretty damn great too. I wish I could get my boys interested to that level. My oldest is into model trains (he also works for the Union Pacific), but he prefers to run the trains on his local club layout, versus actually building anything... Kudos on another fine looking kit... Hope you sell a bunch of them!
Your artistry and skills have no bounds! Love this kit and so fun you get to do this with your son! I’ll be going thru a mastectomy in April and planning to build all your kits with my 80 year old father as I recover, so thx for giving me something to look forward to ☺️🌸☺️
Thank you so much Tracy!!! Good luck with the surgery and happy modeling! Your going to be creating great memories with your father and I’m honored you will be building my kits. Thank you!!!
Thank you for the great build. Have you thought about a video of each of the buildings made at the workbench in a special video for fans of scratch built structures?
This is a great looking kit. I am working on my skills so I can do justice to a nice kit like yours. Thank you showing how to do the build. Please keep making kits like this.
@@JasonJensenTrains With pleasure. You are a great role model for me, even if I can't write or speak English well, I understand quite well. Feel free to visit me. I also build all my buildings myself. Greetings Tino
Love your videos Jason and using the scrap wood to support the door was a nice tip for my scratch builds. Regarding the trim under the roof, a "trick" I usually do is to attach the roof first then glueing the trim under the overhang is easy and requires no sanding or fitting because it can be pushed flush up against the roof card stock overhang for a tight and clean fit. Just a thought and could be included in instructions for future releases. Thanks for your interesting content!
Thank you so much Scott, I really appreciate it!!! I usually glue the trim on after the roof is on but I thought I would show a different technique. Some people may like to do it that way. Something different. Thanks for watching!!!!
Man, I never get tired of these videos I don't work or do H/O scale only 1/24-1/25 model kits, but I take your tips and techniques and aplply them to the models. Thank you for your time and effort on this channel.
After the card stock is added on the roof, could cut the trim that goes under the card stock and then glue in place. Butt it to the underside(flat)on the wall and against the card stock.
👍👍great video Jason, the William's Propane Sales kit turned awesome! Even though I model HO in modern times. I very much enjoy your videos and layout. 🚂🚂
Great 👍 build sr I watch you all the time ⏲️ learning how 🤔 to build these craftsman kits you a great teacher 👏 gone to order few of your kits this week 👍 keep them coming 👍 ps can you do a tool 🔧 lesson on what are the best tools to use or say needed for building 👷♂️ better kits thanks
Hello sir, very nice job ! But you made a mistake with the doors on the right of the bottle cage: on of them is upsidedown...the small part is up on the left door, and down on the right one😂.
Have to say that is really impressive, I never tire watching these videos, love the detail with the propane tanks in the cage and those rusty metal doors, absolutely superb. Have you made any progress on the sci-fi layout in the rec room? 👍🚂
Thank you so very much Alex!!! I always appreciate it! I have been really wanting to get back to work on the sci-fi layout but haven’t had the time. I have LOTS of plans for it. I’m hoping this weekend to get some work done on it. Thanks for asking! 👍
If I could make one suggestion, why have that window in the wall that is hidden behind the tank rack. The suggestion is that if it is not sen then why use the laser cutter to make that opening and not make it a blank wall..
I wanted to give people the option of putting the tank rack any place they wanted, even on the back or side of the structure. I wish I would have mentioned that in the video. Maybe I will talk about that in a upcoming video. Thanks for watching!!!
Question. You went through all the trouble of putting in a window in the smaller part of the building, then you covered it up with the propane tank box. Why?
Great question Benjamin! I gave people the option of putting the tank box any place next to the building, even on the back side if you wanted. Thanks for watching!!!
When you use Craft Paints on your videos; you always just give the bottle a couple of shakes. Do you ever use a battery operated paint stirrer prior to the videos.
No, I think shaking them by hand is good enough but I go through paint pretty fast so none of it is old. If the paint is old you may want to stir it. Thanks for watching!!!
Thanks Jason, very cool, I have mine on order, also I can not seam to find the right wood for piers with 1/8 wide boards 6" x12" to make piers with at Northeaster scale lumber. is it clap board or flooring? 🐾🚂.
Love to have this kit with all the detailed 3d extras but your delivery calculator wants almost as much as the kit costs (AU$84) to get it to me in Australia so I’m balking at hitting the buy button! Can you do something about that Jason as I’m sure it won’t cost that much to send it to me!
Thank you so much and thanks for watching!!! Never say never on N scale but I haven’t built an N scale wood kit before and don’t really know the correct size of things!
Good Morning Jason. It sure is nice to hear about you and your son working together on these model projects. Great build. Lots of character.
Thank you so much Chris!!! I truly love working with my son in the shop, we have a lot of fun! Thanks for watching!!!
Most impressive attention to details, cracking job Mister Jason!👍👍😍😍
Thank you so very much Phil!!! 👍
I love hearing that your son is very involved in your business. Good quality time!
I absolutely love working with my son! Thank you so much for watching John!!!
Love the cage build and weathering!
Thank you so much!!! 👍

Another winner kit! I really love the propane cage. It makes the kit really stand out.
Thank you so much Ed!!! I truly appreciate it and I always appreciate hearing from you! 👍
Don't forget the Hank Hill figure, 😁he works for William in your world, nice kit, the propane tanks looked very accurate.
Thank you so much John!!! My son and I really appreciate it!
I believe the large propane tank is supposed to be at least 50 feet from the building for safety. Nice model.
Thanks for the tip. I may have to change mine once it’s on the layout. Thanks for watching!!!
Jason, great looking kit, and amazing details.
Your tips and techniques on how to assemble your kits is outstanding.
Cheers, and stay safe, Michael
Thank you so much Michael!!! I always appreciate it! Thank you for your support! 👍

Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate hearing that! 👍
I think for the cabinet its actually easier to cut it apart and than do but joints. Then you wont have to fight the tension of the folds.
You are absolutely correct. I think that’s probably the best way to build it. I want to build another one now, lol! Thanks for watching!!!
WOW...what a great kit. Well done, Jason
Thank you so much!!!
Great looking building. Thanks for the tutorial. It looks fairly easy to assemble
Thank you so much Joe and thanks for watching!!!
It looks like a great kit, and I enjoyed watching you build it, Jason.
Thank you so much John!!! And thank you for watching!

Wonderful kit and helpful tutorial. It’s so nice that this is a kit that’s currently available. Hey, where are you hiding Will? We’d love to meet him!
Thank you so much Bonnie!!! Lol, Will never wants to be on camera but I keep trying, maybe someday! Thanks for watching!!!
Now you just need to make it in N Scale. I really like this Jason. So William. Ok then. Have fun,Chris
Great kit and instructional video. I am new to building fine scale laser cut kits but all your directions and guidance will be helpful.
Great kit, I want one
Thank you so much Ron!!!
Excellent as usual
Thank you so much Edward!!! I really appreciate it!
Another winner of a kit!
Thank you so much and thanks for watching!!!
I'm not an HO modeler but what a great kit with really nice details.

Very true and that’s how I’ve done it in the past, just wanted to show a new technique. Thanks for watching James! I really appreciate it!

Will you be attending Rocky Mountain Train show this year? If so will you have kits there?
I may attend the show but only as a buyer and train fan! Thanks for watching!!!

Hi. What is the relief of the boards on the main walls? it looks like mechanical processing.
