while I really like this crew healing mechanic, a part of me do wish that it should only heal at a captured point, make incentives for people to actually go for the cap. and make the healing somewhat faster at cap
Could probably be a thing for realistic battles like how you can only use the crew replenish at a cap point.
the problem with incentivising people to go to capture points when they're damaged is that it lures them into a compromisable position while suffering from the penalties of the damage they took, which makes them much easier to target and kill for the enemy teams camping the capture points.
it's like hooking and reeling fishes into a barrel then shooting it. It'd be better for teammates to at least be alive to be able to fight for your advantage rather than risk dying entirely.
Imo, they should make it so that the rp and sl rewards for capturing a point should give you as much as what you'd get for destroying a base in ARB in order to incentivise people to play for the objective more.
People would get on an R3 rush the point cap die and leave the lobby 100%@@r1zmy
i feel like a good idea would be crew can heal to full while on cap, but crew cannot heal to full when not on cap
@@r1zmy or increase reward while killing enemy tanks while you are on the capture point, rather then just for killing enemies that are already on the cap point

This is a surprisingly well thought out and limited game mechanic.
Heals just enough to make the game more fun but doesn't give a big advantage.

As 2C Bis enjoyer that has always red crews I find this as a major win to my crew survivorability.
Especially the fat that the timer isn't universal for the crew, but per crew member

Just wish there was better visualization of healing effectiveness on X-Ray and the status UI. Having the indicator for healing is nice, but it’s very difficult to tell when your crewmen has been healed to a sufficient point without stopping and looking really hard at the color tone.

frankly if you can't tell between a yellow orange and an orange it doesn't really matter because the penalty wouldn't be noticeable, as it really starts to kick in at darker oranges
Crew healing is meant to be noticed subliminally. You may not notice it but it could mean the difference between getting the drop on an enemy or crew knocked out
No, i don't think in a live match knowing if your crew is just a ever so slightly different tone of orange will make you have the drop on the enemy, because if you can't notice a difference in tone then it means you won't also notice a difference in penalties and vitality, maybe at low tier where cannon damage is small but even then.
From being one sneeze away to being knocked out to being two sneeze away to being knocked out
A healing of all time
The point wasn't to make the crew perfectly fine. It REMOVES all debuffs of damaged crew. Dats ALL i and many wanted
I mean it's always been noted in the vitality crew perk "amount of health and recovery time if they're wounded" but they never actually healed anything until now.
The fact they implemented a new mechanic that isn't 50k RP module is a miracle in itself.. I assume it does something with assists though.
I would have preferred a full or almost full heal when waiting in captured flag. Like ammo replenishment.
For few reasons :
1st : it's a incentive to fight for flag and by so objective. Making the game more interesting.
2nd : it would have been maybe more easy to tell when and to which point the crews will be healed.
3rd : it minimizes the amount of camper getting hit waiting in a bush to heal and get back in battle. Making everyone pushing and then retreating to heal and resplenish ammo. Making it somewhat more "realist".
Maybe they can add that. On the field you only heal to orange and on cap you get fully healed

new update "Wizards of war" gijian adds necomancy, allowing an crew member will high enough manner to instantley revive an other dead crew members without needing to be on a cap.

It was always frustarting to me, playing IS 2, when gunner is red there is literally no turret rotation
I hope we get one update to this so that when you use crew replenishment on a control point, we get one new crew member to replace one dead one, and all living ones are healed up to full again.

Then it would probably be time to read the roadmaps and votes to know what features are coming (and can be voted by you even)
i personally think a better way to have done this mechanic is to have crew replenish heal all injured/alive crew members this only really benefits the rats instead of players playing objectives

After 11 long years, they implemented greatly beneficial things after all the previous updates.
now we wait for them to add this to other modes. Multi-seat aircraft crews should be able to patch themselves up. Also, boats - of course Gaijin doesn't give a shit about naval, but it's hella frustrating to have no way of replenishing crew losses
Next they should make detailed internal damage models for crew members.

I think many rounds are bugged atm. I was playing the T26E5 and my m82 was no penning things itnshould oen easily like the side of a jagdpanther, the mostly flat 120mm ufp of the early IS2, and i even penned the side of a Tiger II's turret but it only killed the loaded and barely even injured the rest of the crew. M82 was known as the nuke round for its ability to one shot everything it penned, and yet, if you actually manage to pen anything, it does no damage.
The snail seems to be on have someone who is getting good ideas through to ground rb such as this stock parts i mean someones doing something as the snail has never been this kind

Never was bothered by injured crew mechanics. You got hit by a high velocity projectile, youre not going to be fighting your best after that. Would have preferred this was not a mechanic added.

Does the healing heal crew enough to remove all debuffs? Like turret rotation and reload are back to if they werent hit. I understand it reduces debuffs but the crew still seems quite yellow, so idk if it does what gaijin says.

There should be a limit to how many times crew can heal themselves. I wouldn’t be working at my 100% if I kept taking 7.62x51mm rounds very often.

Wat? It won't affect shit lol. When U hit a Maus or a Ferdinand, if U managed to pen, it was either a high pen shell like Apds, wich will clear the crew in its path, or a sideways APHEBC, wich will just blow the shit out of it.
Either way, there's no crew to heal
