With so many people teaching rubbish on RUclips it is really refreshing to have Paul and the Kali Centre. I have trained ITF Taekwondo, Wing Chun, Kyokushin Karate and Shinkendo. I can say that you Sir stand out as a great instructor. Really love this video, after a heart/ kidney transplant nearly two years ago my Dr said i could not go back to my Martial Arts. I have just begun my Kali journey. Four classes in and I'm beginning to see how both arms an hands have to work together. It's like being a drummer. I just started doing this workout today and realized how uncoordinated I am. But in due time I will get the hang of it. The best part of this art is it doesn't matter if you have a weapon or not the moves don't change. Thanks for your easy to learn moves for beginners like me.

I go outside with my kali sticks and at least practice 45 minutes to an hour. In the coronavirus it’s been difficult to find a mentor or a dojo that is affordable. Keep posting kali videos. You have become a mentor of mine now. Prayers sent to you for the work you have put into making these videos. Thank you so much!!!

Very clear and easy to follow and you encourage and push. As I'm new to this and loving this workout, I'm wondering if there is a similar video for a basic knife workout. Is that something that already exists on this channel, or is it something you would consider making? I'm am really taking to the knife and would like a workout that specifically works with single and double knife techniques. Thanks again!

Hello, I am from Brazil and I used to practice boxing. I want to understand kali footwork. In boxing, we do not put the feet together. In kali, when do you put the feet together? To start a triangle? Do you walk normally in kali until the opportunity to put the feet together and then make a triangle?
It’s a great workout. The only thing I would say for the stick drills is to slow them down first and explain the moves before going so fast…. Your title said beginners drill
