I completely agree with you. Nowadays, people are no longer romantic, relationships are instantaneous, start fast and end fast, with no feelings. Most relationships start on facebook, are based on appearances, and end quickly because they are not based on true feelings. Dating doesn't exist, because there is no romance, people don't connect with each other deeply, they don't know each other, everything is superficial. We need to change this paradigm. Love and romance have to come back.
It is the fast foods society... and it’s sad... that’s why people get so lonely. And I don’t think it is also only on the men side. Chivalry is not dead.... and i like the way my grandparents used to date...
Speaking of French food, I got my daughter hooked on Croque Monsieur sandwhich. I live on Maui now and there's not many fantastic eateries here. There is one place called La Provence here but that's about it
Pavlova is not from Russia. It is named after a Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova. The dessert comes from either New Zealand or Australia. Both countries claim to have invented it. New Zealand claimed it was created in 1926 and Australia 1936. My mother was from New Zealand and we grew up making it. She always made a creme caramel with the leftover egg yolks. Both are delicious. FYI, she baked it on a piece of wax paper or parchment paper on a paper bag from the super market. It helps dry out the meringue.
This looked so good I got up and made a meringue and came back to video. We do a chicken like yours only we make the oil very hot and then add chicken.but the rest is the same. I am glad I watched this so now we too will have a French dinner. Thank you......k
Thank you for this video. I am a French girl trapped in The Netherlands mdr.. romance is gone here. Dating a French man when I lived in France long ago, I have to say it was the best with the manners and treating me like a woman. Not saying every French man is perfect of course, but the men of the north are too cold and impolite for me also too rough in the way they treat women. This is just my experience.
Hey Thank you so much for watching my videos.... unfortunately finding a gentleman and a real man out there is extremely rare (or they are too old ahaha). Education and manners are something very very rare.....but we don't desperate ;)
@Parfecto77 my former byf was French and I was dissapointed, bcz I'm Polish and I was raised traditional with good manners, and he was everything opposite that I was expecting from french man.Very cheap guy, he would take everything what someone gives for free, even if he doesn't like it or need it. If someone invites me for a date in Poland it means you pay, and often he was expecting me to pay. Plus he and his parents never gave a tip in a restaurant. When I gave him expensive gift, I got the cheapest perfumes from him.The other thing clothes, I wouldn't go out in sth that has holes or stains and it was ok to him, his parents also didn't say ath to him. He was also always late, which is a lack of respect to me and in my country (unless someone doesn't have good manners) I could give many examples, these are little things, but they all matter. Summering up, he had no idea about savoir vivre, and I hope not all french men are like that :) I do realize that some polish men might also be not polite, but so far I didn't have ath like this.
@@Aneta8C I heard a reputation about French guys are cheap but I’ve never actually dated one and I believe there are cheap vs generous guys in any countries. I would just run away from the cheap ones after the 1st date. Don’t wanna waste my time for them. There are plenty of fishes out there. 😉
I agree with you must be natural romance and also I don’t believe in being intimate before marriage … that should be sacred .. now days men take women out get them a bit tipsy and expect intimacy that night .. I think that’s very disrespectful and nit classy .
No. Extremely rude… it did not bring anything like flowers or even bottle of wine while I cook for the entire dinner….I found it very disrespectful so I decided to cut off
@@Aliceinparisofficial ❤Good!☑️. I live in NYC. Men are polite for one and a 1/2 dates. Then their rudeness starts coming out. I hear that the more traditionally responsive and attractive men live in the southern part of the USA. Like Texas and Tennessee and Louisiana. I plan to visit those States.
I was learned, that the man should go first to the restaurant, not woman. Because man is protecting her from all the stares of people in the restaurant and also if there would be any fight in the restaurant, man is going first to protect woman, because it is kind of an unknown environment, so he is checking if all is okay and then let her go in. It comes from a wild west, where in restaurants could have been fights. So I am confused now, that you say man should let go woman first to the restaurant. How it should be then?
Hello from what I know the man always open the door for the lady when he enters the restaurant so he is after you. The coutumes says that if you fall down or misses the step he can have your back.
I know what you mean by this, maybe what you learned is similar to what happens in Portugal: in this country, a man will only go in front of a woman if the place they are entering is slightly "dubious"
Why go to a restaurant where a fight might break out. That for sure is a red flag if you need to worry about that… but maybe in some non Western cultures? Anyway the guy always should open the door & allow the woman to go first.
The only time I know of when a man goes first is when descending a staircase, so he can protect the woman should she trip or fall. On ascending a staircase, the woman goes first for the same reason, the man follows her for protection should she fall.
Ahaha only a French girl is vegan but eats eggs 😂 haha sry I mean it in a nice way I juste had to smile. Your videos are amazing love your accent and your vibe 🫶🫶🫶

Also what one wears for a date at home ?
Like in the restaurant a nice dress with heels. I don’t think you should dress differently than when you go out
I dated a rich Algerian guy in Paris, for 4 weeks and he only took me to fast food restaurants 🙄 . I dumped him, of course 😄
Hey! French girl don’t judge by how expensive or fancy but quality of foods and ambiance....at lease it is how I judge.

Is that puff pastry/millefeuille at the bottom of the quiche?
yes!
I’m American and I would never date more than one person. I was raised Catholic in the north east.

YES! The man opens the door for the woman and lets her enter first everywhere EXCEPT restaurants, bars, even discos! Wherever there could be danger.
The only time I know of when a man goes first is when descending a staircase, so he can protect the woman should she trip or fall. On ascending a staircase, the woman goes first for the same reason, the man follows her for protection should she fall.

Exactly. Vegans eat no animal products, and usually try not to wear leather. I think she meant vegitarian.
