After finishing Frisk, Sans tried to reset his world so that everything would return to normal, when he wasn't a dirty murderer, but as soon as he used the reset button he realized that when he returned his world back to how it was before he also brought back the human, he had no choice, he killed everyone back and killed Frisk again, he tried to use the other 6 human souls, but it was still the same result, no matter how hard he tried, Frisk would always come back, Sans finally gave up, once he killed the human one last time he stayed there realizing that not all dreams are real, not even the dream of a world where monsters could be freed from the chains of genocide, Sans was doomed to be in a world full of dust and loneliness, where he would be the only one left, accompanied by the nightmares of his past and the constant memory of the murder of his brother by his own hands.
what if he'd reset before the human fell though? wait for them to fall after like a month and stock up on everything, impale them with bones and take their soul, put it in a jar and rush all the way to the king. If that doesn't work, kill everyone, get all the items, use the green soul to slowly gain more and more hp, then use the orange soul to become braver and braver overtime. Then once the human got there, use all the souls and end them with all of his LV. Presumably he'd be able to do an undodgable attack and trap the human in their own personal hell, they'd be reset to where they once were and dunk on the human, then they'd go make friends with the rest of mankind, surely they can't all be the same. Even if they were there's no way they'd be as powerful, so with all of those souls sans would go on to be unkillable.
This is ACTUALLY an actual ending of the canon Dusttale, it's called the "Abandoned Ending" , I am very surprised that people don't make takes on the 3 endings of dusttale
