I would more describe it as having a more "manic" feeling to the music. The thing I liked so much about V3 was the total lack of that. (also by "manic" I mean it feels more like sans has to go against high odds, like in almost all other AUs. I really liked how the music was devoid of this feeling)
I prefer V3 personally, but this is not bad. V3 has a more hopeless feel, like not matter what you do sans will win (aka he has "assured prey") vs this one has a more manic feel. I don't fully know the story of this one, but I assume in this one it's surprising if you win, instead of in most (like last breath, disbelief and such) they are fighting against very high odds, so the music has a sort of manic feel to it. I loved how your V3 was not manic at all. I would loved to see more non manic stuff. V3 was literally my favourite undertale remix I've heard in a long time (and the only thing I listen to is undertale remixes)
